Do you take your furbabies with you into any/all stores?

I've taken my Yorkie to Home Depot too, and they love him at the checkout counter. So many more places I have taken him too, but one place that still upsets me that kicked us out was an outdoor concert last summer. Too long of a story to get into, but we did get kicked out. I have a pet carrier for him that I used at the first concert, but not the second one. Maxwell is so quiet and not barky when we go out. Anyways, I haven't been back there since.

I take mine any place I go that doesn't serve/sell food. I take them in the stroller.

i JUST CARRY CHESTER PLACES LIKE HOME DEPOT, BED BATH AND BEYOND, PLACES THAT DONT HAVE FOOD. THE VERIZON STORE WONT LET ME BRING CHESTER IN ANYMORE, I THINK THE NEW MANAGER IS NOT A DOG PERSON

I have taken mine to craft fairs,etc and I also took her to vote. They loved her there and talked to me about her for about 15 min told me to be sure to bring her to vote all the time. LOL
I seldom leave her home.

Frimousse is very small , when I go to several stores I place her in the pocket of my kangaroo coat .

I don't usually take them with me. Since I am retired, they see enough of me at home. I did take Ben to Radio Shack today but that was because I had just been to the groomer's with him. I had him get in a small carrier and I don't think anyone in the store knew I had a dog with me. I have had him a few other places, but usually because I am consolidating errands with a vet appointment or grooming. I keep him in a carrier and no one seems to mind if they notice. I have not taken any of mine where they had food though.

I don't like to take mine to Petsmart. Way too many big dogs in the one near me. Seems like everytime I am there, there are big dogs misbehaving, dragging their owners, trying to get loose, and barking like crazy. It would terrify my little ones and worry me to death. I do not understand why people want to force a huge dog into a situation he is obviously NOT happy about, just to show him off? I will show mine off in a heartbeat too, but not if it makes them uncomfortable. I will spend the rest of the day trying to make it up to Ben just because I made him go through the humiliation of a grooming. It's not always easy to be owned by a Yorkie.

Sam goes most places with me. He has gone out to eat, restaurants, movies, wildlife park, and stores. He goes to Walmart and Target all the time, he is in his purse so no one knows he is there.

My $ General loves Sam and if he stays out in the car with Nana if I just run in, they get upset! The $ General District Manager said that he can come in as long as he doesnt touch the floor because their food is not "open".

For stores that I know he is welcome then I take him in the stroller because its more comfy for him.

He loves to go to Michaels in Mckinney bc he gets to walk around the store as if he were at Petsmart.

I take mine everywhere with me. We go to Walgreens,Walmart, the grocery store, The movie rental place, the beauty shop, the mall, Lowes, Home depot...You name it! I was told once by a lady at Walmart that I couldn't bring them in. I just stuffed them in my coat and went in the other door. Once I'm in everyone, including employees, oooh's and ahhh's.
With resteraunts etc... I get a puppy sitter, or we'll get an outside patio table. I am disabled and want them to be service animals. I hate being away from them...We are going to travel a lot this summer and my babies are going!
I have a stroller for my babies and a coach carrier. I only use them if I'm by myself and can't carry both of them. They love their carrier!

Sooner Fashion Mall in Norman, OK allows us to bring our two girls into the mall and the stores inside the mall. The mall rule is that the girls have to be carried, in a carrier, or a stroller. Their paws are not allowed on the floor. We also take our girls to Bass Pro Shop and they can walk or be carried. Lowe's allows us to bring our girls. There is one restaurant in Oklahoma City (Earl's BBQ) which allows the girls to dine on the outside patio with us.

I can't hardly think of a place we go that our Yorkie doesn't. We take her into restaurants, grocery stores, etc especially on road trips etc. They don't know we have her, and I won't leave her in a car in our home town there is no way I'll leave her in a car in a strange state. She's always with us unless we are going with friends, then she stays home.

I have taken Ethan into a Wal Mart before, it was a super center. i had a late class and my mother was sitting for me. On my was home i needed to go by wal mart, the parking lot was too full, and i refused to leave my babe in the car, so I got a buggie but him in the child's seat and shopped. I'm not sure if people were in shock or what! Shock becuse I'm 5'11 209 muscular build with a yorkie... or the mere fact that I brought a dog into wal mart. At any rate no one said anything to me, and everyone was rather polite.

hmmm i have taken mine openly to home depot, lowes, petsmart, petco, and a couple of other places i cannot think of offhand. home depot LOVES my babies and miss b even poo'd on the floor once of course we cleaned it up and apologized profusely! my fiance carried one of them into kroger and when he asked if it was okay, they told him yes. must have been some young teenager who was new

i have snuck them into 1 restaurant, target, wal mart, galleria mall in dallas, stonebriar mall.

Sam has gone into the Galleria , Collin Creek, Allen Outlet Malls and Stonebriar plus the Grapevine Outlet Mall in his stroller. No one said anything to me but a lot of people dont notice its a dog stroller unless they really look into it.

I am so excited that our Farmers Market opens next weekend because we will start going out there every Saturday. He loooves going out there because when we walk in, all the vendors say Hiiiiiiiiiiii Saaaaaaaaaaam!!!!

hehe i am going to have to get a stroller then i could take mine more places!

that is so cute about the people at the farmers market loving sam! of course with that face it is definitely not hard
