| ![]() I have 3 kids 17, 15, and 5. Curly Mac was given to my 5 yr old, Jack, for Christmas this year. So far, so good. Jack is really gentle and sweet hearted. He says he's Curly's daddy and named his brothers her uncles lol. |

| ![]() Now that I can answer this! We just got our first yorkie yesterday and I have 4 children! Our little girl, is 4 months old and weighs 2 lbs. My kids are 9, 5, 3 & 2 yrs old and they are gentle with her. They have been loving on her and she has the perfect personality and everything has went smooth over the last 24 hours. Like she was always meant to be. Although I do understand what people say about young children and a small(er) yorkie. She is under your feet before you know it!

| ![]() My children are 6, 4 and 3 yrs old and they are INCREDIBLE with Missy and have been since Day 1. They no longer run in the house because Missy could be underfoot. They make sure their toys are always picked up. They always have a watchful eye out for her and keep her safe at all times. They truly adore their puppy and want nothing but the best for her. They are NOT allowed to carry her around, or hold her unless they are sitting down. I am beyond thrilled with how they treat her. They totally understand that she is tiny and more vulnerable then our 20 lb pug dog or my Mom's boxer. Missy can't so much as pick up a piece of fluff off the floor without the kids panicing that she might swallow it. It's really cute. ![]() My children are extremely well behaved though. I get compliments all the time on their behaviour. My husband on the other hand...he's the one I have to watch out for...he's so clumsy! LOL! ![]()

| ![]() Mine are 20, 13 and 6. We have a dauchshund already so my little one was familiar with dogs even tho Bentley is quite a bit smaller. I do still watch her very closely and threated her life if she was ever alone in the room with the puppy and he yiped no matter what the supposed reason. So, I guess I scared her into being good... not sure I should have admitted that ![]()

| ![]() I have 2 kids and my son was 1.5 and my daughter was 4.5 when I got toby. Toby is pretty small 3lbs, but it's all in how you show your kids to handle them. My kids have never hurt my yorkie. ![]()

| ![]() We have 3 right now, 4 in July! Emma was 3.5 when we got Sicily, and she was almost 5 when when Shoo was born. We just had this last litter of 2 little boys, and my youngest just turned 1 in December. (So they are 5.5, 4, and 1 right now.) I never had a problem with the kids being too rough with the dogs, but we have all had to learn how to watch where we are stepping. (My husband more than anyone- it seems like his feet are little yorkie magnets!) ![]() |

| ![]() Amelia was born when Gypsy was 1 and we got Kayla when Amelia was 5months old. I've never had a problem with all 3 of them being together and the girls often try to engage Amelia in their games and she loves to take their toys and play tug a war with them. I completely agree.

| ![]() My son was 14 when I broght Suzi home. He has high functioning autism, and developmentally at a much younger age.... he's very gentle with Suzi and loves her . Young children can be taught how to handle a puppy, however the younger the child is the more parental supervision is required for both the safety of the puppy and little person. ![]()
