We have 3 right now, 4 in July! Emma was 3.5 when we got Sicily, and she was almost 5 when when Shoo was born. We just had this last litter of 2 little boys, and my youngest just turned 1 in December. (So they are 5.5, 4, and 1 right now.)
I never had a problem with the kids being too rough with the dogs, but we have all had to learn how to watch where we are stepping. (My husband more than anyone- it seems like his feet are little yorkie magnets!)
I've found that they are wonderful dogs around our kids.
