Now that I can answer this! We just got our first yorkie yesterday and I have 4 children! Our little girl, is 4 months old and weighs 2 lbs. My kids are 9, 5, 3 & 2 yrs old and they are gentle with her. They have been loving on her and she has the perfect personality and everything has went smooth over the last 24 hours. Like she was always meant to be. Although I do understand what people say about young children and a small(er) yorkie. She is under your feet before you know it!
