| My little boy Keoki is 6.8 pounds and people think he is "BIG" but he is still very small yet tougher than being too tiny- he fits into a bag comfortably and is easy to carry. I thought i wanted a small baby but am so happy with my boys size- trust me even 10 pounds is tiny and smaller dogs do have more problems. |

| DJ was around 4 to 5 lbs, Harley around 8 when they died. Zeke weighs in at 13.5, Zack at 10.5 both solid. Zeke will shake the whole bed when we play tug of war. We have company with a 6 and 4 yo boys. They are able to play with these two and I do not have to worry too much about the boys, 4 legged ones, getting hurt. If DJ were alive, I'd be more concerned.

| The breeder told me Brady would be around 5 lbs and at 2 years old he is exactly that. He was only 8 oz when he was born. He is such a joy and I love him dearly.

| Teddy was 3.8lbs at 12 weeks and he is 10.4 lbs at almost 8 months. His parents were 4 and 7 lbs and his brother is only 4 lbs so you never know your pup could always slow down his growing but I wouldn't have Teddy any smaller I feel like I don't have to worry about him around kids and other dogs as much. Trust me you'll feel a lot better about a bigger pup with two kids |

| my izzy was 7 pounds last time I got her weighed at the vet. Last year. Im sure she's gotten heavier...LOL Because She use to be a bit skinnier when she's wet. I wanted a smaller yorkie when I first started looking but when I saw her she captured my heart. I ![]() wouldnt trade my sweety for anything. |

I have to agree here a bit There is no way to predict how they will grow even after bred. People and dogs just kinda grow the way they were meant to!Now, granted if the breeder told you the pup was a certain weight before hand, i would seriously inquire with the breeder why that was misinterpreted. The parents' weights should have been freely disclosed to you beforehand

| Chance will be 9 months old at the end of the month and we just went to the vet last night...he weighs 18 pounds!! I think they lied on his passport (the European version of papers). Everyone that sees him says he's too big to be a Yorkie. We're glad he's bigger, perfect size for our family...but I just can't believe they said he's a Yorkie...there's no way! |

| My Abbie was 5 lbs at 12 weeks so I knew she would be at least 10 pounds or so. Well not at 5 months, she's just over 13 pounds. The vet think she'll probably end up at 15 pounds! I'm a little shocked to say the least. |

| I responded to this earlier when Laddy was younger and was in hopes that he would be at least a 5 lb baby to try to avoid alot of health issues mainly for his sake but ours also, but we had him at vet last week and he is will be 5 months in another week and only 2lbs 6oz. But the vet says there is still a little hope |

| I don't recall what their weights were growing up, but Woody is 6yrs and 10lbs (about 2-3 lbs overweight - mamma is working on that one) and Bogie is 4yrs and 10 lbs, long and long legged, could probably stand to lose about 1lb. My grand daughter loves to share her food with the boys behind all of our backs for the last year, thank God she doesn't really eat anything that is not good for them. Honestly, who cares about the size, we all love our furbutts just how they are.

| When I got my little LuLu, I kew NOTHING about yorkies. As it goes, she will be 1 year old this months a weights 4 1/4 pounds. Papi, our new little addition is 14 weeks old today and weighs 2 pounds. I didn't go looking for "little" ones when I got LuLu--it just happened that way. I did look for a small one when I got Papi, because I didn't want one that would be a lot bigger than LuLu. Any way it goes.....I don't care how big or little they get........my heart will forever be owned by my yorkie babies.
