				 | My yorkie is 12 pounds. He isn't fat or overweight, he's just a larger dog. His mom was 4 pounds and his dad was 5 pounds. He just kept growing and growing! I love that he's a bigger yorkie. -Victoria |

				 | Bailey is 5 months old, 7 lbs. and 10" at the shoulder. A big Yorkie. I thought they were supposed to be petite. Bailey isn't fat, he's got long legs. A big guy compared to others. |

				 | Forest is almost 3 years and weighs over 9 lbs. Both of her parents weighed in at 8 and 10 lbs and are full registered Yorkies. The one thing the breeder informed me, when I was inquiring about getting one of her pups, was that she did not breed tiny yourkies and all her pups we're in excellent health. She also encouraged me to come out to her place and meet the parents and the young dogs. I was very impressed with her dogs and was happy to take my little girl home. I was never under the impression that Forest was going to be a small yorkie and am glad she isn't. Forest is a terrier true to form. She is full of energy, loyal, and loves to jump and play. Even though my husband and I have a ramp up to our bed (for our mini daschund) Forest still prefers to leap up to it from floor level and back down again. She has never suffered any injuries do to her leaping up and down from the furniture, and handles playing with bigger dogs at the off leash park. Tenacious with a capital "T" |

				 | My Yorkie is 8 months and 2 pounds. I wish she would get bigger but she hasnt grown! It worries me how little she is. I step on her at times and she jumps off EVERYTHING!

| Yorkie Talker | I have a beautiful Yorkie Terrier and she is really big.She is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 16.5 lbs. She had her check up in Dec and her shots and the vet said she was very healthy and not over weigh for her size. she really doesn't need to get any heavier but she is probably about 12 inches tall. A beautiful girl !! |

				 | My 6 year old weighs 4kg, that should add up to 8.8 lbs. Standard here is up to 3.2 kg. He is totally beautiful and totally healthy. Who cares about anything else!! |

				 | My girl is 8 months (will be 9 this month) and last weighed at about 10 lbs at the vet and since finding out she has luxating patellas, my vet pointed out something I already knew, that she was actually a little chunky monkey :P She was also inactive for awhile after her spade surgery in Dec. so the doc pretty much feels getting her slimmed down some and strengthening her legs will help alot to avoid surgery in the future but to still keep an eye on her, too. Her mom was 8lbs and her dad was 5lbs (she's got a long body/legs and very fine bones) both were so cute, I'm thinking 8lbs is her ideal weight and the vet agreed. She started slimming down fairly quickly and was doing great but then I noticed she was fattening back up some (and the leg issue came back) and found my mother did keep feeding her treats and made sure she ate her dry kibble (a whole day's worth in one sitting). Had to get on to her about that, but I think we are all on the right track now. So yea, I'd say at about 8lbs is where she should be right now. Amazing what 2 lbs does on her (she was a little sausage on sticks at the vet when she was weighed ), but now she's gradually showing a slender waist (and a little bit of loose skin ^^;;;..)

				 | I took my 4 month old, Duncan, to be neutered yesterday and he weighed in at 10 lbs, 11 oz. already. He isn't overweight, he is just a big Yorkie. He is the same height and size as my mini dachshund. I just got a baby girl Yorkie on Monday. She is 8 weeks old and weighs 2 lbs. so I can't wait to see how big she will turn out to be. |
