| Was there no health contract on Natalie?... Even if there wasn't, from what I understand there is an "Implied Warranty" on all pet sales by pet shops, breeders, and individuals who routinely sell litters... You really need to have a chat with an attorney to get some of these vet bills paid by the seller....you can just have a consultation with the attorney & then take her to small claims yourself to avoid the costly attorney fees....

| I'm glad someone spoke up regardin her credibility. It just irkes the hell out of me someone without a *real* job can afford to have so many furbabies when they already have a number of skin babies to take care of. Pay over 1400 for another furbaby is irresponsible. Loving your babies means taking care of them emotionally, physically, and FINANCIALLY. Even if Natalie was a healthy baby, you shouldn't have adopted Gracie. Extremely financially irresponsible. I have two yorkies and I love them to death but it is a lot of work. It seems like you have your hands full. You're probably thinking I don't have the right to condemn you for adding another yorkie to the family, and you're probably right, however do you not feel any shame for asking for donation after spending a chunk of money on another pet? I just started posting on here recently but have been reading thread after thread for years. There are a number of people here that have the kindest heart and I hate to see people like you take advantage of them. If you really love Natalie maybe you should give Gracie back. You can use that money for Natalie's surgery and Gracie can find a home where she would not have to fight for attention. Gracie is one of the cutest yorkies I've ever seen, I know without a doubt she won't have a problem finding another forever home in no time. This post might be harsh but I am lookin out for the best interest of the yorkies and the members here. I've always been weary of people who come across too eager or too friendly. Seems fake. |

| This is so sad the way this thread has gone...it started out with everyone so concerned for a poor very sick pup and it has escalated into such ugliness.... I was so hoping to see an update on Natalie next week because I am concerned for her and I am so hoping you get some encouraging news..... I'm so sorry this has happened to you.....Good luck with little Natalie...I sincerely mean that....

| I hope everyone here realizes that being cautious doesn't mean not caring for Natalie.............I go to church every Sunday and Natalie will be in my prayers as she has been since the first day but everything else just doesn't add up...........Praying is FREE

Natalie had extensive testing when I first brought her home (all except for the bile acid test because she's too tiny to withhold food) and she checked out perfectly healthy other than having "a cold" and "thin ears" <eyeroll> - - - so no, I didn't plan for extreme medical treatment in the near future. It's not like we've ALWAYS been on disability...... I am a stay at home mom and pretty much always have been.... is there some controversy there? Maybe... do I care? Nope.... raising my kids has been my life..... end of story. My room mate is a Registered Nurse who makes well over 50k a year... (that's pretty good for Oklahoma) - - so it's not like we didn't have savings, 401k, etc. on the books.... We were in a vehicle accident in March of this year.... totaled my vehicle and left us both unable to function normally in day to day activities, let alone allow her to go back to work...... she used up vacation time, FMLA, etc. until it was exhausted and then income stopped until October when she starting receiving long term disability payments through her employer..... eventually we'll settle the case and should have a decent settlement.... but that, as most of you know, could take years.... As for selling doggie items? So what? We buy, we sell - big deal.... many of the items in the current HUGE sale thread have been collected by friends in order to help with Natalie's bills from BEFORE she was diagnosed - lots of things were shared with us to post.... no secret there... I stated it right in the initial post..... as being a "compiliation of items from many folks".... <<shrug>>

| Again, I didn't "run to a forum and ask"... and two.... you haven't been loved by precious Gracie.... so you don't know WHAT you'd do.... and it's awfully easy for us to "predict" what we would or would not do when we're not the ones in that particular situation...... doesn't always end up that way when it becomes our turn.

The finances are not available for specialists and the immediate care that Natalie needs....... Yes perhaps - in a couple of months or so, we could better accommodate her - - but sick babies just don't work that way.... Would I provide proof of expenses, sure? I don't know what they'll be yet, but Tuesday should tell us more..... paid directly to the provider? Sure, I don't know why they would be concerned with where it's coming from, as long as they're getting it.... I've been clear in where and with what Doctor Natalie has her appointment.
