I will also add that I am sure there are many of us who were very interested in adding Gracie to our families as well. Financially many people couldn't. It seems like you would have plenty of money to take care of Natalie's expenses without donations if you hadn't just spent well over $1,400 on adding a new dog to a multi-dog household. You already knew Natalie was ill before doing that. I think that makes it hard for people to donate when they know you just spent a large amount of money on something that is not a necessity and then ask for help with vet bills.

I too am very generous as I think most members here are. I think especially this time of year people are willing to give to help others in need. In fact I like to give time as well as money and volunteer to help animals in need.

I will continue to pray for Natalie and hope that she continues to get better. It is so obvious how much you adore her and want the best for her.

All this "you never should have bought that dog" stuff....... well, I can only say that what I ended up paying for Gracie wouldn't cover a 1/4 of the bills we are looking at for Natalie's care..... so let's drop that topic, shall we?
