no the thing im talking about was a website that paid for your vet funds if you were not able to but only so many get chosen so often.
i think they work off of donations.

its not a credit card! they pay the actual vet bill for you. no charge to you. This is really only if they see you are not able to pay tho!

I think we should all just storm The Animal Planet's ER Vets with emails and phone calls and pleas for pro bono services!!!

11:39 PM Oklahoma time...... SHE'S UPPPPPPP!!!!

With a little coaxing from Gracie, Natalie FINALLY STOOD UP ON HER OWN for the first time since yesterday!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!

It's not much, but every little move forward is an accomplishment!!!!

Keep the prayers coming!!!!

awwww that's excellent!!! the lasix is probably making her breathing easier so she wants to move now. don't let her do too much, buts its great that she's standing!

OMG!! Your post made me so happy!!! I just got home and came to check here immediately. Mango and Spanky are looking at their Mom like she's totally lost it, 'cause she's whoopin' at her 'puter screen. Do you realize how MAJOR that is, that Nat actually stood up at that hour???!!! I remember last year when my Tigger was so ill, the Vet used to tell me that the "wee hours" were the worst, because that is when they are the weakest. The fact that she could stand is just awesome! It's so funny too, how you describe Gracie, now and earlier in the day, as egging Natie on with her little yaps.... that is exactly what my Spanky used to do with Tigger, to encourage him to get moving. If he was having a really bad time, and I was not in the room, she would start barking her head off until I came there....like she was calling to alert me. When he would not eat, she would also yap at him then.

Aw Hon....... I have this picture in my head of you, at this late hour, so tired, looking out for your baby girl, listening to her breath, getting so excited at a such a simple thing as standing. I wish I was there next to you,cheering you both on.
I will be up still for a while and will check in here very soon.

It was a fleeting accomplishment, but an accomplishment none the less!!

She's sleeping now, and if I had any sense, I suppose I would try to do the same.... but I've been online trying to find some kind of veterinary expenses grants - - which I did.... just, we're not qualifying for any of them.... <<grrrrrrrrr>>

I filled out the online app. for the Care Credit thing..... no go....

IMOM.com is a fabulous resource, but they are not able to assist as quickly as Natalie needs treatment..... (the EMERGENCY grant would be possible IF the doctor signed a statement saying that Natalie will die or need to be put to sleep in the next 24 - 48 hours without treatment.... but since I'm PRAYING that is not the case.... and, well.... the doc is not even seeing her for 4 more days.... that won't work, but I gave it a shot!!) - so IMOM.com is not gonna' fly...... (although, it may be an option should there be any long term treatments required!)

Time to feed the baby girl....................

Sorry to hear about all the no's. Keep trying. I am sure that there is something out there that someone can do. Put change jars at the grocery store with her story on it. Write the news paper. You write beautifully so I think that you will have a ton attention plus with a tiny baby even more. Good luck and keep trying.

I sure would be asking my family members for help. I would make sure they understood that I would absolutely be paying them back with interest. Most of my family would think I am nuts spending that much on a vet bill, but they would be there to help. Between your family and your YT family, you might just make it in time. I think time is of the essence in Natalie's case. Best of luck. I know what you are going through and how frustrating it is and how helpless you feel.
