| ![]() i talked with pams vet today doctor grimes in lousiville ky and i asked about dixie health on her check up i have kept quite untill now dixie(aka leeaa) has dwarism and an open font when i bought dixie i was not advised by pam that she had this condition and givin the opportunity to turn this sale down i now have had many demands put on me by pam in order to return dixie i had her vet checked and my vet confirmed this also pam has asked that i have dixies shot up to date she requires 5 5-1 at 5 months old plus kennel cough plus flea protection and on and on and adm said i could post all vet findings and emails to confirm my story as long as they are between me and this breeder and so i have now decided to go further with this i will not be returning dixie to pam at this time i do not feel as though she can make any demands on me as she knew of dixies condition when i bought her this is a breeders forum to report all good or bad on any breeder this is not an attack on pam just her practices with her breeding program i also found out that when dixie was vet checked by pams vet that he was told they were eight weeks old the date they were vet checked was 3/12/07 and there birth date is 01/23/07 now you add up how many weeks they were and at this time she had shipped 2 pups to another yt member on march 13 /07 i feel as though i was scammed by not being told of dixie condition when i purchased her and being charged 2000 dollars and another 150 for a vet check up last week so i just feel that this has to stop and i feel cheated and lied to and i feel as though pam had no right to call me a liar in the begining |

| ![]() OK, I DO NOT REMEMBER MY VET SAYING ANY SUCH THING AS DWARFISM, ISNT THAT JUS A TINY DOG? AS FOR THE FONTNEL, I CANT REMEMBER HER HAVING IT EITHER, AND DONT HAVE ANY VET REPORT FROM MY VET EITHER ON IT, BUT IF ITS SO, AND EVEN IF IT WASNT ,ID STILL WANT HER BACK, SHE WAS MY FAVORITE ONE AND PERFECT AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED, AND I WAS GLad youd give her the shot before you returned her, seems like maybe i asked for too much? i just want to be sure shes protected , and ill be waiting for her return tomorrow , at 11.00 at my vet, no questions asked, ill have your 2000.00 for you and you can search for your perfect puppy, she will be much loved here too, again i wish none of this happened, i just want you to be happy and im perfectly happy with getting her back, just like i stated on our contract, see you sat at 11.00 ,, cant wait to have her back! ![]() |

| ![]() ok thats fine with me as far as the dwarfism the way you r vet explained it to me was that the open font is caused by dwarfism not the other way aound he said is was a retardation of growth and that is why the font does not close and the dog does not grow this was all explained to me by dr grimes as for dixie please do understand i do love this dog very much she is a real sweet heart and very loving and how can you think that if she gets big enough you would even consider breeding her i would never i would have her spayed and be done with it i really hate all of this my heart is breaking and no i am not happy but i must do as i must for my well being and dixie i have bigger girls and i am afraid they will hurt her later on even if only in play she is very tiny boned and it would not take much to hurt her i am looking out for this pup and her well being i wish i could havve placed her in another home for a pet maybe pam will have better luck than i i do not feel right selling a pup with an open font to someone when i am not the breeder and could not give a health guarantee on this girl |

| ![]() Dwarfism is not just a tiny dog. If the Dwarfism is caused by the pituitary gland will result in a dog that retains their puppy coat, experiences thinning hair and eventually loses their hair, the skin will darken, their adult teeth may not come in, and they will have immune system problems and severe joint problems. It is hereditary and the mother and father should not be used for breeding again. It it also recommended that none of the littermates be used for breeding either because they may be carriers. These dogs will not live a full life. The only treatment is human growth hormone which is expensive, may not be available to your vet, and the success rate varies.

| ![]() What will happen to Dixie if she is returned to you? Will she be used for breeding, will you resale her, or will you keep her as a pet? Her medical care could be very expensive if she has dwarfism or develops hydrocephalus due to the open fontanel.

| ![]() i have many i dont breed, she will just be one of them, i realy did not remember my vet telling me about this tho, how i could forget it? im not sure, with all the stuff going on with my parents, mom with the debilitating althimers, and this is why i dont want visitors, shes not up to having people around, as althimers is heriditary, and her mom had it, and now mom, maybe im heading that direction too, i dont know, dads heart failure is not recovering, and i havent been up to par on things, realy did not want to sell you a bad dog, never intended that, i will still want her ,as my momma dog is getting up in years, she was always my favorite, and glad together back, ill send you pictures of her, from time to time too if you want bye call me in the morning, we will take care of this, pam |

| ![]() This will be my last post on this subject as my only intentions in posting my review was to warn others about you, as I promised you I would. As far as the rabies shot...you DID lie to your vet, the airlines and the state by stating he was only 11 weeks old on official state forms and the vet certificate needed to ship him. When in truth he was over 14 weeks old. This is fact. Are you saying that this is not true? I still have the paperwork to prove it. As far as his weight...we both know what you did. I NEVER asked you to guarantee his adult weight. But I did ask for a truthful current weight from you, so I could try and make an educated estimate at his adult size. Isn't that what anyone looking for a future breeding quality stud would ask a breeder and expect a truthful answer? You knew I wanted a male as close to 5 lbs as possible. If I had known his current weight was almost 4 lbs instead of under 3 lbs like you told me...I would have politely declined to buy him. You told me exactly want I wanted to hear as far as his weight was concerned to get me to purchase him. As I have already mentioned...the dog has a great home and is a wonderful pet. But you never knew that did you Pam. NO...because you would never answer your phone. |

| ![]() hi no she will be my baby, just like she was before, i have many that do not breed, i dont care about breeding, as much as the care of the dog, i raised her from a baby from the day she was born i held her,and loved her, no shes perfect to me, i cant see it any other way, money is no object to me , as i spend everything i have on my baby dogs, they are my kids, i cant wait to have her here with me, ive missed her terribly, if its true dwarfism, and i know its not, then she wont grow, we will see, ill send pictures of her as she matures, ive fixed many dogs ive bought with health problems, and ill spend my last dime on them, i buy the most expensive food, and the vet care is most important to me, more than i care for anything for myself, my dogs always come first, ive went to no ends to repair and spay and nueter dogs that ive bought and could not use, ive paid 3000.00 to 5000.00 to fix some problems at specialty vets, no these are my kids, they come first, |
