I really think it should have been discussed in private between the two of them.
I do hope it all resolves quickly for Dixie's sake.
She is a beautiful pup and I am sure will mature into a beautiful girl. And whoever gives her a forever home will be a lucky family.

Wishing both of them the best

Well I know you hate to let the beautiful little girl go...but we all know your wanting to show, so if you had a contract maybe she will do the right thing....good luck and I hope everything works okay...

ok pam i thought we called a truce and up till now i have done nothing but but speak good of you and my purchase so i would really like to know who said i had been badmouthing you i hardly get on hear yesterday was the first time i have made any kind of conflicting statement and why would i keep dixie for a year or 1/2 yrs i dont know any show or breeding program that would unless she was being kept as a pet only if i know she is going to be to small for show much less breeding i will not breed a girl under 5 pounds under no circumstances hello she is 2.6 pounds at 17 weeks and her sisters are at 4.5 and 5 hmmmmmmm do you really think she is going to get that much bigger she is very small framed
if my contract said i had to buy her back because she could now show or was to small to breed than i would do so and honor my contract i would not make the person waite untill i was ready geez and you are right we dont know each other that well but i dont like not being told my dog was the smallest and givin the chance to turn the sale down as you said you needed the money well i saved a long time to get another dog for SHOW
and now i have to start over which alot of us have had to do plus i dont let my pups go untill they are 12 weeks can you say the same no you shipped someone elses at 8 weeks old is that a good breeder to ship babies so young and how are you such an expert that you were so sure dixie would be a show girl she was to young and that was my bad for buying her that young and i recieved an email from you that said 230 yt members wrote you yesterday and told you i was bad mouthing you thats alot of yt members i never said i had gotten any from yt members look i know we all have hard times now days and money is hard to come by i just expect to get either or for my money and no i did not buy her with the intentions of resale i really love the little dog she is just not going to do what i hoped she would and so again i thought this was done but i will tell you each time you shoot at me i will shoot back and again i am very sorry for you r heart ache at home and hope all goes well for you and your family

I agree with PrestigeousYT this should have been handled in private.
Dixie is a beautiful girl with a nice ped and from what I saw of the dogs Pam has
or had ...they were all very nice looking dogs.

I know you are disappointed not to have a dog to show
but
Buying a dog before the age of 8 months or older is a really big gamble.
That is why so many show breeders have had to place dogs because they fell apart.
Being Show hopeful or Show Potential is just that.
Meaning the dog may have a possibility of becoming a show dog but it's not guaranteed.

If every breeder had a crystal ball and knew at 8-12 weeks the pup would be a show dog
they would keep the dog.

Also buying a pup with 3 lb sire and 5 lb dam..
being a breeder you know the Pups are more then likely going to
fall somewhere in between those weights...That why breeder don't guarantee weights.
I have seen the smallest pup out of a litter grow up to be the largest.

And IMO
Faulting a breeder for an OOPS and dragging her name through the mud is just WRONG.
Because if that was the case there are many on here that has had some TYPE/Kind of an OOPS at some point in breeding.

Anyways.. It a shame Pam can't buy her back, and I hope she finds a great forever home.

Also good luck to you.. Maybe next time you can find an older pup that more meet your expectations.

well i agree my bad i guess all the way around but when you have a contract that states she will buy pup back and than tells you that you will have to waite untill she is atleast a year and a half so she can see how big she get's whats up with that

I agree this was not the way to go about if you had a problem with Pam. I think you kinda jump the gun on this one. I could understand if the pup was sick or some other major problem, but size - no one can guarantee that. You know this too. Anytime one buys a pup that is young - you do not know for sure what size or weight it will get to. You did not have to purchase this pup when you did. When you buy a pup - you hope things work out, but there is never any guarantee.
I bought a pup from Pam a couple of years ago and could not be happier. She is a doll! In my contract from her it states very clearly that she "makes no warranty on the size, or color upon maturity, or that the buyer will be able to show or breed the dog."
I actually have shown her and she has won some 1st places and against others in her class. Even upon arrival I had her thoroughly checked on and she checked out perfect. Since then I have had a full blood panel done, bile acid test conducted, and her legs checked and all is great. She is very compact, level topline, and very sound. Oh, and what a personality she has. She is very special to us and I could not have been satisfied more.
When I bought my baby from Pam, I was going to drive up to her home and Pam did not mind, she welcomed her home to me. I did end up having her send for her due to timing and not the available time to drive up there to get her, so we just had her shipped instead. But it did not matter to Pam if I shipped or came to her home.
I knew from the start that she had brussells and yorkies and Pam told me right up front. I do think her mom has a poodle.
Well, I just wanted to let you all know that I have had no problem and was very satisfied with my yorkie from Pam.
Here are a few pictures of her.
P.S. Pam still emails me from time to time checking up on how she is doing. That means a lot to me too.
