I really think it should have been discussed in private between the two of them. I do hope it all resolves quickly for Dixie's sake. She is a beautiful pup and I am sure will mature into a beautiful girl. And whoever gives her a forever home will be a lucky family. Wishing both of them the best deana and leo

I agree with PrestigeousYT this should have been handled in private. Dixie is a beautiful girl with a nice ped and from what I saw of the dogs Pam has or had ...they were all very nice looking dogs. I know you are disappointed not to have a dog to show but Buying a dog before the age of 8 months or older is a really big gamble. That is why so many show breeders have had to place dogs because they fell apart. Being Show hopeful or Show Potential is just that. Meaning the dog may have a possibility of becoming a show dog but it's not guaranteed. If every breeder had a crystal ball and knew at 8-12 weeks the pup would be a show dog they would keep the dog. Also buying a pup with 3 lb sire and 5 lb dam.. being a breeder you know the Pups are more then likely going to fall somewhere in between those weights...That why breeder don't guarantee weights. I have seen the smallest pup out of a litter grow up to be the largest. And IMO Faulting a breeder for an OOPS and dragging her name through the mud is just WRONG. Because if that was the case there are many on here that has had some TYPE/Kind of an OOPS at some point in breeding. Anyways.. It a shame Pam can't buy her back, and I hope she finds a great forever home. Also good luck to you.. Maybe next time you can find an older pup that more meet your expectations.

I agree this was not the way to go about if you had a problem with Pam. I think you kinda jump the gun on this one. I could understand if the pup was sick or some other major problem, but size - no one can guarantee that. You know this too. Anytime one buys a pup that is young - you do not know for sure what size or weight it will get to. You did not have to purchase this pup when you did. When you buy a pup - you hope things work out, but there is never any guarantee. I bought a pup from Pam a couple of years ago and could not be happier. She is a doll! In my contract from her it states very clearly that she "makes no warranty on the size, or color upon maturity, or that the buyer will be able to show or breed the dog." I actually have shown her and she has won some 1st places and against others in her class. Even upon arrival I had her thoroughly checked on and she checked out perfect. Since then I have had a full blood panel done, bile acid test conducted, and her legs checked and all is great. She is very compact, level topline, and very sound. Oh, and what a personality she has. She is very special to us and I could not have been satisfied more. When I bought my baby from Pam, I was going to drive up to her home and Pam did not mind, she welcomed her home to me. I did end up having her send for her due to timing and not the available time to drive up there to get her, so we just had her shipped instead. But it did not matter to Pam if I shipped or came to her home. I knew from the start that she had brussells and yorkies and Pam told me right up front. I do think her mom has a poodle. Well, I just wanted to let you all know that I have had no problem and was very satisfied with my yorkie from Pam. Here are a few pictures of her. P.S. Pam still emails me from time to time checking up on how she is doing. That means a lot to me too. T.
