I have personally known this breeder for years. How do you know the OP? From YT? How can you be involved in ruining a good persons reputation when you don't know either side personally?

| ![]() Judy should come here and defend herself and not send a legal eagle who is trying to scare us all. As for Sheila, I have known her for some time on YT and we shared many personal and emotional mails in the past re the loss of our beloved pets. She had the illness long before this situation arose, and I believe Judy understood and saw she was sick…and why she wanted a pet again. Sheila is a sweet person who would not have posted her experience with Max unless she was totally frustrated with the unfeeling breeder, with whom she thought she had a good relationship. I do know that money must be paramount to Judy and trump any emotion or empathy for people, otherwise she would let Max stay where he is and recompense Sheila for her sick pup, contract or no. Things always get nasty when the law is involved!!!! |

A lot of people read this...perspective buyers and breeders alike. I would think, if she was innocent in all of this and she felt her character was being defamed, she would want to defend her name and reputation. Your name is everything as a breeder and I would think she would want to share her side of the story. I know you are saying that nobody knows Judy or her side of the story....but she's welcome to come here and tell it. Perhaps then, we can understand why she does what she does. So far...all she's done is come on here and confirm what Shelia already told us...which is Judy is only willing to swap out Max. There are always 2 sides to the story.

| ![]() Yes the law was involved when the contract was signed but as a former business owner of 30 years I know that word of mouth referals trump it all when it comes to my reputation. I always did all I could to satisfy my clients whether I thought I was in the right or not. In the long run you will lose a whole lot more than money with an unsatisfied customer. If you think the customer is wrong you make them happy and send them on their way and don't do business with them again. But here we are talking about a living breathing puppy who has no say in any of this. He deserves the very best of care and the breeder who was responsible for bringing him into this world should want that also. It should not be about the money.

| ![]() How can Judy appropriately respond to anything without documentation of the accusations? Look at the posts... You all have taken words not actual finding and judged. Judy had explained to me that taking the puppy back and issuing a refund was an option given to the OP. I understand this is hearsay and I am asking you not to judge someone on that very same thing, my apologies. |

| ![]() They were sent to me in messages. Personally I do not know the breeder and I really don't want to see anyones reputation ruined but many a wonderful breeder here including many highly respected show breeders have given Judy very good advice about her contract and even those she has not seen fit to respond to. I don't think anyone here at YT is trying to be malicious. We all want what is best for little Max and for Sheila. We are a caring community not here to crucify anyone and we would love to know why Judy does not see fit to first of all have the genetic testing done on her breeding pairs and also to adapt her contract to make sure all her puppies, show prospect or pet have the very best life they can. Money should not be the primary concern of a good show breeder or any breeder who truly loves their dogs.

The stress has made sure that I will require a partial bowel resection. If not a full colostomy. (We have the appt. with our Attorney on Wednesday to draft my Living Trust and DNR, at my G.I. Doc's advice.) And it has caused my MS to progress to the point, that I am not walking very well. So, now my husband has to get me out of bed, etc. I understand what you are saying about what might have happened to him, but it is not going to be good for him, if he ends up in a home without me in it. I don't think we are going to get good news on Maxwell's left eye tomorrow-we are seeing white pus now. And my husband said when he cleaned Maxwell's eyes this morning, his right eye is still red with inflammation. So, surgery is more than likely in this little puppy's future. And we still have all the work of filing the complaints, which believe me, we will do each and every one of them.

He didn't even ask her to reimburse us for the medical bills, which for the 1st two visits were close to $250.00. How come your friend hasn't come on here and said she offered us a refund? If she had offered us a refund, I wouldn't have posted my review, and I had absolutely no reason to lie and say that Maxwell has Congenital Lacrimal Gland Aplasia, and had yeast infections in both ears, and Giadia!!!

You know I am very disappointed . I have a contract for a reason. You knew that when you bought Max .I really like Shelia and I am sorry for her illness. I have mailed AKC papers to you and the ownership can't be changed until you register him and then return the papers to me . I never give papers on a puppy until they are spayed or netured but I did it for Shelia . You have told me I did not send the real picture of Treasure which you saw her when you were here !Basically you have called me a liar .Now you want a refund , not a replacement puppy? I still have the tiny female and 1 other small male . I.will let you have either one of them . I will take Max back but by my contracts terms . I am sorry but that is all I will do .if I had known he had any problems at all I would of never offered him to you . If you want to return him let me know what day so someone is here.

My friend has no reason to lie to me. Send her the vet results, why won't you do that? When you make such accusations, you provide proof. How can Judy fix this with out all the information. You have forced her to do nothing but follow the contract that you signed. I am not sure of your motives in hurting Judy however, I am at a loss as why you would use your illness. I have a cancer with no cure and I would never place blame... Our lives are in Gods hands. Shame on you.
