Jeanie, that is great!!! :) I know you must be so relieved.

I have nothing new to share...Livi seems to be fine and dandy and in no big hurry. ;) She is laying in daddy's lap and resting right now. She ate very well for me and has been acting like nothing is going on. I broke down and took her temp again and it has gone back up (99.0). :confused:

Oh, this is such an exciting time for you. I love the birthing process, and helping the wee ones come into the world. Hope you got to rest during the day, you might need it tonight! Keep us posted!!!

This is why I don't do the temops. It drove me crazy and got me all ready for NOTHING. I just watch the behavior of the dog.

But hopefully for you it will be tonight.

Good morning all of you expectant Grammas! I'm up and checking in to see if we have any new puppies in the world since over night. Seems that we have none so far..............Tammy, I think Livi is going to fool you right up to whelping time. I don't like the temp taking either; it would drive me nuts and confuse me anymore. Halle is a very nervous type and wouldn't go for it anyway. I've read that their bellies get noticeably cooler to the touch when whelping time/the temp drop is near. And I agree with Jeanie, you'll know from watching them when they are ready. Good luck to you and all..............hopefully today is the day.

Good morning!! :) I would like to say that we added a few new family members in the night, but no such luck. We are still "puppyless" and Livi really doesn't seem to be in a rush so who knows when we will get to meet these guys. The ONLY thing that she has done is licking and this hasn't been that much....well, she didn't eat quite as much this morning either. Really she didn't even want to eat what she did, but she saw Izzy coming over to her food and well, then it seemed like a good idea. :rolleyes: She hasn't been too keen on the idea of sharing while being pregnant. ;) Soooooo, I guess we could be in for a long weekend.

I wonder if Destiny is moving along anymore than Livi.

Good luck ladies, I know we're getting very close! Hope your deliveries are routine and easy with healthy moms and babies. I'm anxiously awaiting to hear who delivers first - Livi or Destiny!

Jeanie, that's great news about Ollie, I could't be happier for you!

Congrats on Abby's upcoming 4 pups.

Panda and her 3 little ones are doing well (it's me who's been running around like a chicken with my head cut off - busy week here). Hope to post photos in the Nursery section sometime this weekend.

Take care of all those pregnant moms, sounds like it's gonna be a busy month!

Tammy, I know that this is the nervous part. The waiting kills me. I hope that today or tonight is the time, but as you know, they do it when they want to and are ready. Hang in there and try to get some rest.

Well keep an eye on here cause they can go from nothing to pushing without any notice. Is today her first due date?

Ollie was only bred twice, two days in a row.

Same here!! Nothing new to report.

I have to keep a close eye on Destiny as she usually goes from playing and eating to being in labor 5 minutes later. She doesn't really show any signs, she just jumps right into it when it is time.

I'm thinking Destiny will have hers Sunday evening, just so that she can say her pups are exactly 3 weeks apart from her daughter Harmony's pups, lol.

I honestly don't know how much longer she can hold them in, they are so low and she is so uncomfortable she can't stay in one position for very long.

Looks like Levi and Destiny just want to drag this out and torture us, lol.

Ya just turn your back for a second and she'll have them.

I had one I had watched all day, finally went to fix supper, we sat down to eat and we both heard it at the same time, a puppy cry. Sometimes i think they just want you to leave them alone.

You are too sweet to us, MaryKay!! :) As for Nappy...Livi has ALWAYS loved that gorgeous Napoleon boy! My precious Livi sounds like a wild woman...crush on Nappy, pregnant by Huckleberry. ;)

Livi is still hangin' on. My bet....she wants to wait until we are in a deep sleep and then, BAM!!! :D

Yes, this is her first due date. I bred her twice as well, but skipped a day inbetween the two.

No, but you know how the whole sleep thing goes. ;) It's tough when I go to bed and think this could be the night so I better try to stay awake for as long as I can. Landon has also been sick this week (took him to the doctor and he had the beginning of Pnuemonia...UGH!). Luckily, Landon is doing better with Augmentin and breathing treatments so atleast that worry has subsided enough for me to sleep some at night. I would like to say that once Livi has her babies I will be able to rest better, but I just know that I will be up all night checking on them. ;) :rolleyes: I don't mind, though....I am just excited to meet them!
