Yes, she is due the same day if you go by her first tie. I sure hope she has then this week, she is so big!!

Are you feeling the pups moving around yet? I love it when they are at this stage.

Destiny's are quite active and I can hear the heartbeats.

Are you feeling the pups moving around yet? I love it when they are at this stage.

Destiny's are quite active and I can hear the heartbeats.
I am concerned about Livi being due this Saturday...we are expecting a lot more snow. :( I pray that the bad weather hold off just in case we need to get to the vet quickly.

Just today we started feeling movement and it's really pretty faint still. I was able to hear 2, possibly three, heartbeats....but only one was strong and loud. I hope that maybe it was just how they were laying and that they are healthy chubby puppies! I am glad that Destiny's sound strong and active! I look forward to hearing that your beautiful Destiny has had her precious babies. :)

Oh geez, Halle didn't miss him at all.:rolleyes: I kept saying that she would be glad to see him go because he was constantly in her face & she would constantly get up on the couch to get away from him. I'm thinking that he was old enough by the time he left that she didn't think of him as her baby anymore, but just one of the gang. Her mommy role was fulfilled so there was no empty nest syndrome. And if it's friends they were, well I guess when you are left with others to play with, you don't miss them as much either......maybe.

You're probably right...Livi's baby was sold at 12 weeks but he didn't leave until he was 15 weeks. But Livi never wanted to get away from him....she loveddddd playing with S'mores! I really thought that she would look around the house for him and be sad, but she was fine....like nothin' happened. I am glad that she handled it this way, though. I would have been so sad to see her upset about him being gone.

Oh, aunt Izzy was sad for a few days, though. She also loved playing with S'mores...she was INCREDIBLE with him!!!! Now Huckleberry would have thrown a party if it had been up to him. He was scared and annoyed by his own son. :rolleyes:

Today I think that yes she feels like there could be one. She's not round but there is a solid spot. Going to see if I can feel any movement tonight.

Second pup, male parti, 5.8 oz. Sire is my 3 1/2 lb parti "A Parti to Remember"-Remi, mom is 6 lb parti "Meet me at the Parti". Feels like there's at least 1 more pup ... time will tell. Both boys and mom are doing fine. First boy is nursing, second boy is warming up.

I think Panda may be done for the evening - last pup born is a 5 oz GIRL!!!! :D

Congratulations Sue. What nice size babies. Today I'm thinking Ollie is feeling rounder, and one side feels like there is something there compared to the other side, so still hoping.

No, and they can't get us in for it until Thursday. She is due on Saturday and I would love to get the x-ray so I have an idea of how many to expect, but I also know how stressed she gets at the vet. The x-ray with her first litter had her upset because they actually took her from me and carried her to the back for it. She was shaking when they brought her back. I know they were nice to her, but it stressed her out. I didn't worry as much when it was scheduled before this week, but she is so close now. What would you guys do??

I don't know what I would do. I wouldn't do anything that would stress her out. But I would definitely go in for a pop shot as soon as she was done to make sure no more were in there or anything like that.

I won't be taking Destiny in this time for an x-ray. I was suppose to do it last weekend but couldn't because we got our first snow storm.
I don't want her to get stressed so we will just be surprised. We will just take her in for a checkup and oxy shot afterwards.
I have been listening for heartbeats though to see if I can determine how many that way. So far I hear 3.

If it stresses Livi out too much I would do the same that we are doing with Destiny.
