yes, it sounds like contractions to me, does her tummy gets hard and then relaxes? Chanel did not let me touch her tummy while she was having contractions.

She's in the first stages......I know that staring off into space look. She's experiencing uterine contractions, dilation of cervix, abdominal discomfort, panting. Could last 3 to 6 hours.

just no panting...and u saw pics right? compare those to the ones i posted earlier(last night).she definately looks different.

Her pics look different to me. I wouldn't leave her side just like others have told you.

It looks like she is starting to bulge. You should be able to feel a hardness in the vulva when she contracts if a puppy is bulging. You need to let momma relax and concentrate on having pups. I try not to interrupt them too much until the puppy comes out, then I remove the sack and cut the cord immediately. It is not wise to let the mom do it.

The bulging will be directly under the tail.....as the pup has to travel up and over the pelvic area before emerging through the vaginal opening......

Very normal to be nervous. Much different than giving birth to your own. You had doctors and you could tell the doc what you were feeling. These wee ones always trust us to take care of them.

The pics looks like she's definately dropped and on her way.

yea it is...it looks like her rectum is bulging(between rectum and vagina)

Is the tail bobbing up and down.....expect to see a bubble soon. She should begin hard contractions soon.

dont see any bobbing...shes just laying there but keeps changing spots to lay in her playpen
