Oh my goodness. I really hope things are ok over there! I'll be checking in for updates on your girl!

I am fortunate to have a vet that is always on call and though I always have paid before I leave his office....he wouldn't demand it. When my girl tied I called him and got his cost for surgery during regular hours and after hours.....then I put that amount away just in case we needed it for her.

I hope you found a vet willing to do it! Update when you can.

Hey I just read your Post, my Sassy is now 66 days first breeding and 64 second breeding, When I got home from work yesterday I noticed while on my lap her tummy felt warm so I took temp 100.2 while for the past 5 days it has been 99.2. She did eat this morning temp is now 99.7 and she is just laying in the box. I called in sick today. I hope its today and not tomarrow they will have a fit If I have to call in again. Does it sound like she will go today?

Omg this is killing me! I feel like I'm having puppies now. I'm headed to chemistry class and there's no way I'll be able to concentrate. Praying that all is well!!!

I really hate to be Debbie Downer right now but I am really concerned too. It really sounds like she has needed to see a vet and the longer you wait the higher likelihood of tragedy.

Breeding is a serious endeavor and should never be taken lightly. If the dog needs to go to the vet money should never be a factor--that is your commitment to her.

Her life depends on you.

sorry guys...couldnt sleep last night...took her in to the vet. he felt around and they have dropped and apparently im freaking for nothing...he felt the bulge and i guess he said it was just the pressure but she's still closed. he took her temp and it was 98. im so sorry for stressing you guys out. he says if she hasnt delivered by thursday or friday she will have a csec. it stressed me out that i didnt have the money for emercency care but i didnt expect to have paid 700 so far on her vet care. and my vet is wonderful and never asks me for money up front.
so all in all it still could be tonight, tommorow, etc

thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers and im very greatful to see this many people care

well not to be rude but maybe where you live is easy but around here unless you have cash in hand (they dont care what the problem is) they (emergency vets) will refuse services...thats why i stay with MY vet because he knows me her and our finances
