pic's I am going to tell Rini to look...the first side view is good. His coat may thin out and regrow short like a Doxie in the blue area or it may grow back longer...I doubt the gold will get sparse o thin out..it usually grows fine. Rini knows alot more then I do about blue pups.

Looks like is hair on the ears is sparse. The rest of his body has decent hair and you might be one of thelucky ones and get a baby without the full compliment of alopecia chromosomes.. My experience is that the hair starts to all out-sorta like shedding on the ears and hips. Then the body coat starts to break off at about and inch or less and will ever lengthen. The tan or gold though will grow as normal coat but might be a little bit sparser. We have already talked about Melatonin...I don't know if it will help but it will not hurt. Another thing I would do is add a capsule of Flax seed oil to his food daily. It as the omega oils in it and doesn't smell as bad as fish oils. Use a good skin conditioner on areas that are etting sparse and apply a high SPF baby sunscreen. I feel it is safer if it is okay for hooman younguns. Sometimes there are other skin problems-take care of them if they happen. You will not be able to anticipate every problem he will face. Internal organs can be wonky and it mght not show til he is older.I have seen 2 with hypothyroidism..They were fat a piggies. Also, had calcium deficiencies (Boy, that little bit of info cost me severalhundred dollars having a fracture repaired) I believe I have posted her pic somewhere on here. Her name is Jillian and you can see how tight her harness is...She is out-growing it. Okay, now tell us about that little hunk of a son you have. I told you, I will take him and pay shipping and he won't even need a rabies shot.. Tell him to keep those sunsets and rainbows coming our way. Hope this answered some of your questions.

Blue baby I will have the hubby run to the health food store for some flax and try that with his food also, I shaved the hair on his ears to help get the weight off so they may start to stand 1 day we have 1 up and then both down, but that will come in time maybe after his teeth all come in they will stay up.. Thanks . Brandon is 6 and was a kindergartener this past year, the little man is a wrestler like his brothers and did very well this year placed 5th at state, wreslted with a smashed finger one day that his brother slammed in the door poor little guy his nail was coming off almost instantly but did not want to stay home had to go and wrestle, that is what we call a die hard will go wrestling ill ,hurt etcc has learned from his brothers.. Brandon is very caring about people and owies if you have one he will try to make you feel better the rainbow was his idea.. His grandfather passed away this year and he made him a snowman about 10 foot from his grave so grandpa could see it (my father was buried on his property) and then kept asking me did he see it told him probably not his reply was I knew we shoul d of moved it closer>>> Was too cute brings ya right out of the dumps.. he kept asking we finally told him yes he seen it,, he thought a picnic at the grave site would of been nice too , he said grandpa would of liked us all eating together... Maybe we should start a post and introduce our kids and then rini you can put your gorgeous kids and that beautiful grandaughter of yours on there, we have all showed ourselfs and our dwellings and our jobs how about our kids? We will keep up on the rainbows and sunsets Brandon will just love that!!!!!!!!!

Your blue puppies I was just reading all the messages. Please dont even think of putting them to sleep. My friends 2 blues that I posted about are still living. One is beautiful with a full coat. The other one has lost almost all its hair. He is sick all the time but he loves life and his owners love him tooo. The hair, skin problem did not start until he was about 4 months old. Did anyone see on animal planet 2 weeks ago about the hairless yorkie that was born. He was the only one in the liter that was like this. I dont know if he was born with out hair or if he lost all of it. I really think this was a blue puupy. Because my friends pup is looking just like it. They look like a hairless chinese crest..

They are adorable and look good they look so cute sitting there by the marigolds, they look just like our little boy, we miss our little one alot I hope you find a good home for them like we did with ours, have they had any hair loss yet? Have you tried the melatonin? I do think that has helped our little guys coat they are still giving it to him and it did not make him sleepy at all.

Looks like a couple chocolate babies you have there. I had read they sometimes appear gray/silver as newborns. I've never seen one in person though. Thanks for all the pictures its been very interesting to see these babies develop.
