| thank you I do try very hard to better my line for the sake of the yorkshire terrier, I do hope to be in the show ring with one of my babies one day, that is my goal and my dream, I just hope I helped out some. Just because I have ben there and did not know what to do with the pup at first, but my vet said something important to me all life that is born in this world desrives the chance to live and that I do believe. I have also recuesd several dogs from puppy mills and know how badly thay ar treated and on my website I have lots of imfo for people to learn about how bad thay are, maybe some day we can get rid of those places, I have 3 that are not on my site but thay are not able to go to new homes so thay will live out thier life here with me. education is the best tool for us right now! And in breeding mistakes can happen but you don't repeat them. Thank you blessing Denise&the majesticyorkies Last edited by majesticyorkies; 07-16-2008 at 04:40 AM. Reason: misspell |

| Blue Yorkie I have two females from two different litters, both are doing great, they are fat and healthy as they can be. However, when they were born I didnt have a clue what they were....Both have a velvety feel, where the blue is as well as a blue nose. |

I hope you like the site. It has some very good information and most people here love the breed and have a lot of good advice. If you find something that it is not great... well... just overlook as nothing in this world is perfect. But as i mentioned, the majority of people here are just great ! XOXO

| blue yorkies are made of recessive genes from both parents! Quote:
Please don't be offended, I just think that submit a bitch to the risk of a pregnancy is only justified whit the purpose of obtaining better quality, not the opposite, witch in my view is almost criminal when you are in possession of the information above. Breeding is a big step to take and should not be done naively. | |

| no offence taken however I have researched this myself, and nowhere have I read anything like that. It only takes one perant to carry the gene defect, not both, however if you know of this research posted anywhere on the net I would love to read it, I am always open to learning something new. I would like to know where this is at so I can read it. thank you for your input just the same, but again I would need to read this myself. And I do agree people should breed to better the breed, when I did breed I did it for that reason. However I did have a female that had a blue pup, and she was fixed and placed in a pet home, I found out later she had a litter from the person who had her before me and she had a blue pup then as well 2 different fathers but same Mom. Neihter father has thrown a blue pup sence, so I don't agree. I no longger breed but the offsring and half brothers of the father I used are still breeding no blue pups at all, the father I have has 4 half bothers breeding with other breeders and in 8 yrs no blue pups, so forgive me if I disagree with your post. hope I have not offended you as well, just speacking from experiance, blessings Denise

| - DPCA Breeders Education Both parents have to carry the Blue gene trust me on this I have been breeding for 18 years. I hope this link helps I hate it when people who have never had a blue pup or seen one always has something negative to say. All Blues are not the same. It does not matter if it is a Blue Doberman or a Blue Yorkie some may have problems and some may not. |
