| i would love to have a blue or chocolate yorkie because i think they are beautiful i like different personally BUT i would not ever breed one with a colour differance or pay more for one because of it. i hope they will be ok and get the chance to grow fat old and happy!

You've got to be kidding me! You are proving to be an incredibly irresponsible pet owner! YOU have to make sure this DOESN'T happen!! You can NOT sit back with a laissez faire attitude! Especially considering the circumstances here of a genetic defect!! GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!! | |

| "if it happens it happens" seriously? i hope you really don't think that and just let whatever happen! that's like you doing the same thing with humans, it can be prevented!!!! it's relatively inexpensive to spay/neuter which should absolutely be done if you don't know about them .poor dogs! just because puppies are cute doesn't guarentee they will all get homes!

| They need to be spayed or do not breed them together again or take her to another male to breed if you do want pups. You are lucky that you have not had any problems with them.I have had 2 blues and NEVER want to see that in my whelping box again.(dont want to see any color but black no reds no choc no blues)The worry I went through and still do wondering how they are going to be when older.(health problems etc) I would not take the risk again you have been lucky so far but luck seems to run out. What would you do if there was major health problems with them?? I am very protective over my blue babies I have had.I call them misfits , I love them just as much as my standard colored yorkies .They are no different than the others just the wrong color. Not their fault but ours for breeding them. They did not get to pick their mate we did so we are responsible for them. I keep in touch with my blue babies parents and keep updated on their condition. And I thank god that mine are okay and have turned to black now,but not all do and the more you breed them together your chances of getting a ill blue pup increases. |

| Blue Puppies This is our little Sophie. She is eight months and the breeder said she was a blue puppy. Does this look okay to you? I tried to get in touch with the breeder to show her the pictues of our 8 month old Sophie but her email address and phone number are no longer in service. What do you think??? |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | blue is there some confusion regarding blue puppies? wondering if they are just the steel blue grey color. blue borns that die or lose their hair should not be breeding.. the parents should not be bred again.. how can you tell?

| "Blue Born" are born off in color, where "blue" colored yorkies are born the typical black and tan color, and lighten as they age.

| blue yorkies I have had a blue yorkie pup born once, they are a blue/gray color at birth they do have tan on them but even their nose is grey in color when their eyes pen they will be green or blue too I have pics i have to downsize first before I can put them up. Ihave seen a full growm 3 yr old one too they will bow the blue coat but the tan will stay this is because the genne that tails their coat to change colors is not there, so the blue falls out but they stil have like peach fuzz where they are blue, they can live normal lives so no do not put them down. I will post some pic of the pup I had at 6weeks of age. I just gave him away to a good home. And the female I had fixed and gave her away to a good home as well. I think you could charge a some fee to cover the costs of the puppies, I will say this when I advertied the pup I got alot of emails thats for sure, They are a conversation piece, thanks Denise |
