i have pretty much stopped answering anyones questions. i used to log on every day all day. now, it is just once a week to see what is going on. i am just fed up.

I dont think anyone has asked anyone to sugarcoat anything, just to be polite. This whole point continually is being ignored because everyone is choosing to be on the defense.
You can be informative and polite at the same time, without sugarcoating, and without accusing or rudeness.

You are right. That's why I'm going to suggest that newcomers use the "search" feature. Many, many questions that are posted have been answered here before.

I guess that many breeders get frustrated at seeing the same questions asked time and time again. When you get 50 threads titled "My dog is X days pregnant, WHAT DO I DO, HELP!" the breeder may decide why answer this one again and move on. Or, they'll kindly answer a question then you see the same question asked 20 more times. Next time, they may not be so kind.

With over 1,000,000 posts, you'd think that their question has been asked at least once. The only time that I've seen posts that come close to being rude are the ones where breeders give their advice. Then, the OP gets on the defensive and accuses everyone of attacking them. I'll say it again...what one may seem as rude may be fine to another.

People need to learn to get a thick skin. Don't be so sensitive to what you see written. Unless someone is coming right out and telling a person that they're stupid, heed the advice, take it and run with it.

I agree. I've learned real fast that anyone who wants to be serious about the show/breeding world needs to have a thick skin. I think people have a difference in a opinion on what a "positive post" is. To me a positive post is helpful, informative, or educational with the best interest of the breed and dogs at heart...not necessarily sugar-coated to give everyone warm, fuzzy feelings inside. So...again, some things need to be said..people need to stop being so sensitive...read and learn..don't get defensive.

There's just no point in having to tiptoe around what needs to be said... I've seen many people called rude that were in no way rude..just blunt, to the point, and saying what needs to be said.

I hate that you feel that way Donna. I always enjoy reading your opinions and input on things and I APPRECIATE your honesty. IMO, you are a prime example of a respected breeder that we won't have the privledge of learning from because of all this. Unfortunately, but completely understandable.

I really do appreciate your wonderful comments But I will answer questions if anyone has them but only in PM's for now...I might change my mind after I get my frustration under control. I have a life outside YT LOL...I love showing and having my babies around and I do work LOL...but I love to help but when I can't be to the point and someone thinks I'm being rude because I tell it like it is then my opinion isn't worth the time.
But I will still read and shake my head LOL...

I agree with the others, your input is always appreciated and I do understand your frustrations. The way you stand by your convictions should be an inspiration to others or at least get them to thinking even if they won't admit you are right.

Thank you for your compliments as well, it's appreciated! I will always stand behind my convictions and I am not right all the time and if I'm wrong then I will admit it and correct it.
I'm taking this post LOL.. to explain I'm not a know it all because I don't know everything it's all a learning process and as I've stated before when I stop learning I'm out period! It will always be a learning process...just like life
I'm a straight forward person, blunt and to the point in every aspect of my life not just yorkies LOL....if you want my opinion in life be ready because I'll give it LOL...again, not just yorkies but anything! I stand behind my convictions in all apsects of my life

Me too, absolutely. As a breeder starting out I have so much respect for you and a few others on here who have helped me immensely in the last few months. You've always been nothing but polite and helpful, and put up with my questions. If someone can't learn how to take constructive criticism, they can kiss it...

Thank you!! You got me laughing with the kiss it part LOL LOL LOL! I'm glad that I can help and if I can help with changing at least one person into a responsible breeder then I feel like I've done what I'm suppose to do, just like in the school I work in, I'm not a teacher or counselor but a secretary but some kids just need someone they can talk too and if I can help just one of those kids I've done something good
