Sorry I just have to comment on this. Do you own a cocker? Have you studied the breed? Shown it? There is no evidence that supports the cocker got it's health problems simply because of color. Secondly my family have been owned by cockers for many years, many generations. Not a single one was hard to potty train and all were healthy as can be. In fact I have yet to meet one that was hard to train. The cocker I have now, Peppi, potty trained herself and is 12 years old today without any serious health problems. |

Weeeeeeelllll? Maybe they were just really smart? LMBO. That's about the only thing these little ones never do. Yep, cockers definitely have that I I pee on you syndrome too. I'm sure you miss grooming them. That's why they brought them to you. LMBO |

Have you ever stripped a coat before? I've heard how time consuming it is. |

Oh jeez. I'm sorry. I misread that one.:D:D:D:D Really? |
I got a cocker once when my kids were in elementary school and it smapped at them. Also had a hard time trainging it to go outside. I ended up taking it back to the breeder. I just tried everything to get from snapping. The pitty mistakes I could handle. Snapping at my kids, no! And the kids would sit on the sofa and we would let her come up to us and still and movement and snap she would go. I am not saying all cockers do this - but the one we had sure did. |

I belong to a big cocker forum and it isn't heard of with many being snappy, just a select few. Many members have young children and their cockers do wonderful with them. They are generally great family dogs. I've learned a ton about the breed from the forum. Peppi came from a byb but the breeder did well with socializing the pups. Peppi has never snapped at anyone. She loves children, even lets them pull on her long ears with no complaint. |
[QUOTE=Elle;3268349]Please don't quote my posts without the full post. I wasn't replying to you.[/QUOTE That was your full post. So I did not quote part thereof. And I can reply as I see fit on any thread here. |

And last I checked...many yorkies already have these same issue's...and it had absolutely nothing to do with color. |

funny..............cause my yorkie is the one that goes everywhere ...he never trained........and my biewer boy will go to the same spot every time........so pie bald gene has nothing to do with potty training for sure. |

My last cocker went over the rainbow bridge 2 years ago and she was champion titled and lived to be 15 years old and never once pottyed in the house after the age of 12 weeks! How many yorkie owners can say that? How many exhibitors of yorkies can say that? To make statements about a breed like that shows me quite a bit about you:rolleyes: and to generalize it even more about the parti color of that breed and the health issues that the cocker is experiencing now is not factual information. Then to even try to link that to the parti colored yorkie talk about far fetched |

Surely you are not serious!!! |
