I'm a Precious Pup? Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I think someone else also posted last week about the same problem. I placed an order on the I'm a Precious Pup website on Feb. 7th and I haven't received it yet. I did send an email to the address on their website a couple of days ago inquiring about the order but haven't gotten a response. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with them to find out what's up? Thanks.

Never got my order either. I ordered from her on Jan 25th and I never got my order. I had to call my credit card company last weekend to dispute the bill. I have also contacted the BBB in New York where her business is located. You can read more about my problems in products and reviews or PM me. I never wanted to name names but this is a problem site at this point. I'm sorry to hear you are having problem too. Kelly Zoeys Mommy

Please try to give her the benefit of the doubt. You can try to PM chewymoms or email her again. Currently, chewymoms has a very good reputation as a storeowner here on YorkieTalk except for one or two instances. And in those instances, I believe shipping was slow or delayed, she never just took money and stole it without delivering a product. Also, as a consumer, you have up to 60 days to file a complaint with your credit card company if you are charged for a product you have not yet received. See: If you believe there was a "billing error," you must, within 60 days following the date of the first statement on which the charge appears (not the date you made the charge; the date of the issuance of the statement appears on the face of the statement), write a letter to your bank setting forth in specific detail why you believe there was an error in the charge. You should set forth everything regarding your dealings with the merchant - - Did you respond to an ad in a newspaper, receive a telephone call, visit the store? What did the merchant tell you about what you would be receiving? Did you authorize the charge? Did you receive the goods? Were the goods different than represented? Etc. If you kept a mailer or the ad from the merchant, attach copies to your letter, along with any correspondence between you and the merchant. http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general/c...ack_rights.htm

Oh, I don't believe she took my money at all! I was just wondering if anyone else was having a problem getting their merchandise from her. I recallsomeone posted about a week or so ago about not getting their order and Gerry responded to that post. I did try emailing Gerry at the email address on her website but go no response. I think if Gerry is having difficulty getting her products out in a timely manner than she should email these customers to let them know what the problem is. The person who posted here was upset that her credit card was billed and she still doesn't have her merchandise. I know that happens and it's happened to me but it's not good business. I'm sure that I will get my merchandise eventually and will be happy to get it and put in on my baby! I did send Gerry a PM a little while ago. Hopefully I'll get a response soon.

I think it is best if you have a problem with her, PM her here or try e-mailing her again. I think it is a tad bit rude to put her on blast publicly if you don't really know what's going on. maybe she had an emergency or maybe it wasnt her fault and it's the post offices' fault. I just don't think it's right to start a new thread bashing Gerry. I know her very well from her store and she is a great person and would never do anything intentionally wrong.

| Gerry has a lot of friends on this forum and I consider myself one of them. I have not had a problem with my orders in the past...please take these matters up with her in private...These posts can potentially damage her business and it appears that we are talking about a few cases out of the considerable amount that the company has processed. I am sure the next time you make a mistake at work or at church or at your next volunteer effort you would not like it posted in the next newsletter or announced over an intercom. This is a public forum and really shouldn't be used for delivery issues. That is what the private message system is for...private matters.

Administrator | We appreciate all of our Donating Members with stores. But we also believe in allowing members to share their personal experiences (positive and negative) with all stores, breeders, groomers, and veterinarians. This thread was not made out to bash the store at all, the member posted their experience and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what she should do, which the member received. The member used all possible avenues available to them to contact the store. We would like to ask members to give our members with Donating Status the benefit of the doubt when a case such as this arises. We strongly believe in our members with stores, but we are also neutral and do not make any commissions when a member buys any products from any member's stores. We have no financial interests in any member's stores (though we do make a few dollars when items are purchased from the YorkieTalk Cafepress store). It may be some relief to the member to hear that other members have had very good, positive experiences with this store, but we feel the member should be not scolded for talking about their experience. All stores, no matter how small or big, will have some customer relations issues. Last edited by admin; 03-03-2006 at 12:05 AM. |

I would like to state that I have ordered from I'm a Precious Pup plenty of times. Everytime I have ordered from this site I have been pleased with the way I was delt with as a customer!! I do think this thread was started intentionally because it is not the first if you would have done a search you would have seen that on other threads she has explained why it may have been taking longer......

It looks like I stirred up a hornet's nest. Please belive me when I say that wasn't my intent! I was only concerned that I hadn't gotten my merchandise and I had tried to get in touch with Gerry via email both at her business website and a private message and I still haven't received a response from her. There could very well be a problem with her personally and if that's the case I am sorry if I started something negative. I love this website and am one of the professed YT addicts. I visit this website throughout the day. I would never intentionally bash anybody. I would also like to thank the administrator for defending the post. If a member is going to sell on this site then it's good to hear the good and the bad from others who have purchased from that seller. I have ordered from others on this site and never had a problem and I'm sure that barring all is well with Gerry and her family, I will eventually get the things I ordered. Connie

Sorry I upset People I'm sorry I upset people but everything I have said has been the truth. I have repeatedly tried to contact Gerry with no response since mid February. I looked her phone number up and address. I have tried phoning her and leaving messages to call me. I have left both work and home numbers. I know a few people think I have acted to quickly but I was new to this site and have no history with Gerry. I also did not ask for a YT discount. Maybe she rushes YT members orders I don't know. All I do know is that it states on her site quote "All items that are in stock will ship within 1-2 business days. We ask that you allow 7-14 business days for orders to processed and shipped. Some items that are back ordered or custom made can take up to 4 weeks to ship. We understand that you want your items immediately and we do everything to ensure that orders are processed and ready for shipment as soon as possible. We encourage our customers to contact us if they need an item expedited, or if they would like an estimated date of when a specific item(s) can be shipped. Please allow extra time for all orders around the holiday season. Items will be shipped via USPS." She never sent me anything to let me know my order had items back ordered. I contacted her, she responded that she had been waiting on the Tees but that she was going to be getting my order out to me that day or at the very least the following Monday. That was the 16th of Feb. I contacted her again I believe on the 23rd asking about the order, then it was the treats back ordered....do you not see a pattern here? The last time she emailed me she said she would get the dress and tees I ordered out to me and refund my money on the treats, they were back ordered now too (even though she never said anything about it in her first email back to me) I emailed her back asking about the Bullysticks and for a tracking number. She has never responded to me again. I was never rude to her, I was always professional. I gave her the benefit of the doubt in the beginning but I'm sorry the truth is she has never been pro active, I have always had to email her. Everywhere else I have ordered from lets me know right away if something is back ordered. She never did this. She does not respond promptly to emails or calls. I felt I had no choice. I am glad some of you have had great experiences with this site but when I read all orders will be shipped in 1-2 days and don't get anything letting me know its back ordered what am I to think? Once 14 days pass what am I to think? I didn't order anything custom, nothing huge like a bed. Just a dress, a couple of Tees, some treats and a Bully stick. Anyways.... I guess I'm the bad guy here, I knew if I vented about this happening.....It just makes me sad. I really wanted to come here to learn more about Yorkies...being a new mommy to one and to make friends. I'm sorry if "I" hurt anyone’s feelings........... Kelly Zoeys Mommy
