I didn't feel it was necessary for me to offer to return the bottle, I really felt that they should have offered to send me a replacement. It was very clear in our correspondence that I had used the oatmeal portion. I would gladly have exchanged the bottle with the UPS delivery man. It is very costly to ship shampoo. I didn't feel it should be at my expense. Bad enough I've got two girls with dry skin. And several of my Foster Moms have reported problems. To clarify something; I'm not in the habit of shaking my shampoos; unless it is specifically stated on the label, because personally, I have 3 autoimmune diseases and use special shampoos, and if shaken, they ooze out of the bottle, very expensive to waste. I really hate that this has become about me, instead of what I intended. Enough said. P.S. Do appreciate your saying you didn't intend to be mean though.

| I just received a response from CC Systems. There has been no formula change. They switched from an opaque bottle to a clear bottle so their customers could SEE how much oatmeal is actually in the shampoo and that you can visually see that it needs to be shaken. The products are the same as they have always been. |

| I'm sure there are a lot of people that apprectiate you sharing your story Yorkieville. Although I dont use CC products, I never shake my shampoo, I've never even considered the fact that I might have to, so if I did use their products your story migh save my pups coat/skin. I'm sure it has made some people aware that you have to shake it, that didn't think about it before. As for the customer service part, I appreciate you informing us of your experience as well. I appreciate hearing about any companys customer service good or bad. I do tend to use comany's that have gotten good reviews with not only thier product but also with their customer service. I have heard several good things about this comany and I hope this is an isolated incident(it doesn't really help you if it is though). I also have to say I think that if they should've given you a new bottle you shouldn't have had to ask. You contacted them with your problem and good customer service would've been to try and solve it, but this is just my opinion hope you find a solution or another product that you like. I feel sorry for your pups, I'm sure they aren't feeling so hot right now.

Thanks, Courtney. No, my pups are not feeling too hot right now, but an exhibitor breeder friend of mine gave me a great suggestion, and it has helped a lot. She told me to thoroughly saturate their coats with water, then mix a teaspoon of vinegar and 1 qt. warm water, run it through their hair to remove product build-up that using the oatmeal portion of the shampoo didn't remove, rinse, then shampoo them with Baby Magic Foaming Calming Milk Bath. I did that on 3 rescues I groomed again on Saturday, and their foster moms let me know, they're not scratching as much. Sheila

I don't want to start anything, but, I just want to say, CC went from a solid white bottle, to a frosted bottle. It really is not a perfectly clear bottle. A good comparison of a clear bottle is Veterinary Formula Simple Clean Shampoo. If you have good eyesight, you can probably see that the CC shampoo needs to be shaken, but due to auto-immune diseases, my eyesight is not that good anymore. Sheila

| I just wanted to mention.. I don't use the Oatmeal kind.. mine it the regular day to day shampoo and conditioner,, and those are the ones that I realized needed to be shaken ALSO.. So it's probably ALL of their kinds.

You know, I am REALLY slow. I just looked at the label on my CC Day-To-Day Moisturizing shampoo and it doesn't even say it has oatmeal in it! But they told me the oatmeal had seperated.....

| Hi guys, Many of you have bought CC products from me. As distributors, we did get a flyer stating that CC really messed up by putting the shampoo in a clear bottle and NOT putting a shake well instruction on it. When my customers buy that product from me, I always include the flyer. They will be putting the shampoo back in the white bottle like the conditioner is, and they will be adding instructions to shake well before using. As far as the poor service you got from dealing with CC directly, I'm sorry for that. They should have been more helpful. If you are happy with the product in general though, you should continue to use it and maybe deal with an independent distributor instead. Hi, Stephanie. I really appreciate your words. I agree with you, I sure wish I had dealt with an independent business owner, such as yourself, I think I would have gotten better customer service. It seems I always get better, more personal service, that way. Thanks for posting the info. Sheila | |
