I just want to say, I never intended to cause such a storm of hard feelings. I realize that a lot of you have known each other for a long time, and understand each others humor and opinions, as I've been told have been discussed many times on these boards. Just from a new to Yorkie members standpoint. I dont know everyone here. It was pointed out by someone that she doesn't know me, and has not opinion one way or another. Its the same on my side. I was told to go read the old threads, which are certainly plentiful, but then someone said some of their old threads were different from how they view things today. So, I again as someone new just wanted to post something I saw, lol. I have freinds from rescue groups on messageboards too, and we discuss all the same exact things, but we are always mindful that people are joining the group at different times, and with different levels of knowledge. So, the goal is to help by discussion. If you knew me, you would know that I do have a sense of humor and can be snarky myself with people who do know me. Honeslty, I feel awful to have started such a contreversial thread. Don't worry, I'm not running away. At the end of it all, I see everyone actually are concerned about each other and we all do want the same thing. I'm probably going to inadvertantly post something stupid again, but this time I will probably only post things about hair products haha...JUST kidding!! I apologize to anyone who I offended or felt defensive because of me. Cant we all just be freinds? (ok that was said in a sorta sarcastic but silly way)

Bottom line no one thought you posted something to start anything...I know nothing I posted was directed at you and I hardly think anyone else's posts were either. Absolutely NO reason for YOU to apologize for anything....you did nothing wrong..nor was it stupid. I know a few people who think the DFA is great....they are not stupid people. They just believe what they believe. I believe what I believe. The goal in all of these threads imo is to share different opinions so that people can make their own judgements about what they find helpful. The problem imo on this one is that someone decided we were being mean to you and it was simply not true. I wish people would stop doing those things, but it has been going on since I joined this forum in 2006. It is what it is...people are who they are.

A year and a half ago, remember it like yesterday. I was standing in line at walmart on xmas eve. The line was really long and some started complaining rather loudly things like " You think they'd have more help, being xmas eve". I thought to myself" well maybe you shouldn't have waited till xmas eve to shop, myself included". Didn't dare say it aloud (would have went over like a fart in church with that mood) anyway a little girl standing behind the biggest complainer started signing the frozen song "Let it go, Let it go, this line never bothered me anyway. Other kids started joining in and some of their moms too. Everyone started laughing. What a lesson from the mouths of babes. Anytime something is bothering me I think of that and it immediately changes my mood and makes me smile. Humor is so much more fun!

After vet appointments, I take whoever had to go, to Dairy Queen! We get either a Country Chicken Basket or a Beef Fingers Basket, depending on who I have in tow.....some like the chicken tenders, some like the beef steak fingers.....each bite dipped of course in the country gravy! That has always been a special treat for any of them going to the vet!
