Thank you so much for your apology. I appreciate the public and pm that you sent. It was so sweet of you. It is all good. This thread has been a passionate one. It is still going. But do not worry about it. I know you are a good person. Thanks again. Big hugs Teri

| If it is such a pain and you are just soo cheap to pain for your pet to fly why in the heck are you taking them in the first place?? And I have been known to taddle on people sneaking on pup's because somebody needs to make sure the dog has all it's shots since it is riding on the same place with my Guinness!!!

??? Even the times I've paid for my pet, NEVER have I been asked to show proof of shots...Alligant is the only airline that That has ever asked for anything and at that it was a "health certificate", never proof of shots. I'm pretty sure the bigger airlines request UTD on shots, but the poor people behind the counters failed to asked. Which is also why my boyz have flown free, they forgot to ask for payment upon check in

Yorkie Yakker | I will fly in 2 weeks with Aphrodite ( yorkie)to Germany... I cost me $200 one way also $400 for the round trip ... It also crossed my mind to sneak her on the plan... But my bad feeling got the better of me.... And I called the airline and made registration for Aphrodite ...I can see that the airline charging for a dog... But the price is to high... Considering that the carrier takes the place of your handbag... So you can not have that extra bag for your laptop etc.............now my friend on the other hand, has no problem sneeking her dog on a plane, never got cut in 5 year of doing so ... She has her pup in the arm going to security than befor she goes on the plan she puts her in her oversize handbag..it is just not for me to do so...still not agree with the ticket price .... International flight 2 dogs in cabin |

| We fly a great deal and I have seen and know of several people who were taken off the plane for sneaking their dog on. Both that I know of recently lost their tickets and the airline refused to rebook them. I think on both flights they Lready had the maximum number ofmdogsmon the plane. An ailinemcountermpersonmtold me once that they are not obligated to rebook anyone who has broken the rules with a pet. They may depend on the airlines though.

| I think what the airlines charge to have a dog is really wrong... but I still pay. Why? Because I am not willing to suffer the consequences if I get caught not paying. I do not steal, I do not cheat, and try not to lie, but to charge for a dog when the dog is not taking space or changing anything that is happening on the flight is their way of making money I guess. It is my choice to pay or not to bring the dog. Now... I agree with checking for shots (I think it is only rabies) and limiting the number of dogs on a flight due to algeries of other passengers. When I book.. I book the dog too.. I am not too sure I would remind them of the fee if they didn't charge me lol.. but knowing me I would be afraid not too

| I agree with you Lil Sis, I think they will be charging us for our purses soon. Anything to make a buck I have never been asked for the health certificate in the state since the 1990s but do get asked for it on overseas flights. Cali does want to growl at them when they run the wand over here as we go through the check point!
