| Stealing is stealing, doesn't matter the amount or whoever else is double-billing you for your phone bill, shorting your paycheck, breaking the law by killing or maiming or blowing 150 mph right through the school zone. What others do never justifies any of us breaking the law. But if you feel it is okay, the next time you are double-billed on your restaurant check for a dessert and coffee you didn't have, just pay up - hey, everybody else is doing something wrong and you think it's okay as it's not "extreme"! Why shouldn't they do it to you, too?

| YT 500 Club Member | Y'all act like the lady is saying she is going to kill the dog. All she said was she wanted to not have to pay for the dog flight. As many people as they have fly everyday one little dog want hurt their budget. Everything these days are over priced anyways. Like I said once before let's not act like we have never broke the law before! Have a great day I'm done. |

| How insignificant and "over blown" this topic is, actually is dependent on who is the customer and who is the business. I wonder if the principle "if you can get away with it, go for it" would be taken just as light hearted if someone was doing business with a breeder, that had just sold her a puppy, and had held back all kinds of information, health issues, etc, because the breeder just operating with the same moral integrity of, "If you can get away with it, go for it, just saving money on this inferior puppy, and if I dont get caught, well, hell, I come out ahead!" Suddenly, it aint so funny! |

| I can swear before all that is precious and important to me, I have NEVER deliberately set out with the frame of mind, "if I can get away with this, I am going for it". I have to live with myself, and my parents demanded a much higher standard from me than that. Rather than cheating or lying or sneaking, if I cant afford something, I just dont go there.... |

| I'm same way. Can't help myself - just honest to the bone. Christmas Eve shopped for last minute things, got a little package of those small 8 oz. clear plastic glasses for anytime anybody wanted a quick drink of water, etc. and checked out, paid my bill, got to the truck, loaded in my things and there sat that tiny clear package in the corner of the basket. I felt like a total criminal! I got in the truck and headed for the door of the grocery store, going to park right by it and run the package back in but a guy came out to collect carts and he took it through the window with my redfaced story of what happened. He just laughed & thanked me. I went home with a light heart feeling good and so glad nobody "caught" me leaving and thought I was trying to steal their plastic glasses! I just can't short or take anything from anyone. It would eat me alive. I can't speed, cheat on my taxes, cheat insurance companies at work or do any real wrong knowingly and sleep nights so I don't. And I can't change it.

| YT 500 Club Member | Why are parents being brought into this. So now yall are saying everyone who think this is ok parents taught them to do theses things or said it was ok? Now your saying that people who murder other people parents teach them to do it? I take my own snacks to the movie? How is that stealing it was paid for just not from them. |

| If there is no "house rule" about bringing food/drinks into the movie, then great! Go for it! But if they have a "rule' that you are not supposed to bring in your own concession stand, it is sneaking and lying....not stealing this time, just sneaking and lying and cheating. Why would that silly movie theater not want you to bring in your own food and drinks??? Because you are cutting into THEIR profit margin that they make selling tickets and food from their concession stand. The LAST time I took my son to a movie, it cost me over $20.00 for tickets, and the fun when I was a kid was to get a hot dog, a bucket of pop corn, a drink and 2-3 candy bars. OMG!!! I wanted my son to experience that fun and I am happy he did, because THAT will never happen again! I have paid less at a fancy resturant for a 4 course meal, than what it cost me to get all that junk food at the concession stand! But I guess the movie house pays staff on money it makes in ticket sales and concession stand sales....plus paying for ARMED HOUSTON POLICEMEN to provide security when the policemen are off duty. So I will pay what ever the prices are, as that is keeping someone employed at that theater. |

| Some people are all great and fine with breaking the law until someone breaks the law and it effects them and screws them. The problem with our world today is no one wants to follow the laws and they are not being taught as kids to obey, respect and follow the laws. Just because some people don't follow the laws doesn't make it ok for everyone not to follow the laws. I personally have never purposefully broken a law and don't plan to. A law is a law whether its a big law or a small one it all counts. I would hate for karma to come back at me for breaking a law purposely if no ones life was at stake.

Don't you believe all should pay their fair share or should just some pay up while the freeloaders all coast and "save money"? I never will understand the concept of some wanting to get something of great value for nothing while others pay. I'd be so proud my dog could ride easily and comfortably, I would gladly pay for his trip in the cabin.

| Ummm, don't think the OP has waited since 2009 to make a decision. An additional note, if someone has sociopathic/antisocial tendencies, you aren't going to change their mind with well-intentioned feedback (sigh). Wish it were that simple. It would make my work much easier. Better to just watch your pocketbook. LOL |
