So true. Pat's in my thoughts so often. I have a little reminder set out and when I see it, I pray for him.

Update: a step back
 
Tena wanted me to update everyone about Pat. He developed an infection of the blood from the ventilator. He will be having surgery tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM. They are putting in a trache and a stomach tube. He has also taken a step back neurologically because his body is fighting two infections so hard.

I told Tena that I would ask everyone that reads this in time to take a moment at 10:00 AM tomorrow to say a prayer. She is so worried and afraid for him. One of us will update as soon as we know something.

Thank you Lila for keeping us updated. I am very sorry to hear that Pat is fighting new complications. Praying for surgery to go well tomorrow. I will be thinking and praying for both Pat and Tena tomorrow at 10 am.

I am so sorry that things seem to be a bit more complicated. Hopefully it is just a little bump in the road. I will be thinking of them tomorrow at 10AM.
