Oh my gosh, just catching up. Tena, I'm so glad to hear hubby's surgery went well. Sending hugs and prayers for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.

OMG! Just reading this thread now and so sad to hear about this accident. My prayers go out to Pat and Tena. Speedy and full recovery for Pat and strength and patience for Tena and family..

I got a message from Tena this afternoon. The nurses had Pat sitting up on the side of his bed today. He breathed for 4 hours on his own! He was awake more today and followed commands well. Our prayers are being answered!

Oh, I love those pics. I had not seen that thread...so glad you shared it! I will also be praying for him to be up walking Zhoie with the raspberry leash! :D

I'm stopping in to let you all know we had a good day yesterday! Pat is awake and recognizes me! I'm so thankful my dear friend Lila is keeping you updated and I'm so sorry I haven't done better updating myself. Please know how thankful I am for the continued prayers, they are working! God is good! It's five in the morning here and they just put Pat on another breathing test.
The picture of Pat walking Zhoie brought such tears of joy to me, I was sobbing and smiling at the same time. I know my Pat and he will work so had to make that walk happen again!

Pat has been receiving cards and I'm reading everyone to him. Yesterday, I read them again and he cracked a smile....thank you my friends!

I will try to update as soon as I can.
