Update on Pat's condition I talked with Tena this afternoon. She said they gave him blood and put in a picc line. He is still unconscious and is not aware of his surroundings. They have decided to not remove the ventilator today as was planned. It is breaking Tena's heart. On a positive note, a little more of the swelling has gone down. She wanted me to thank everyone for their continued prayers. I will update as I learn more. |

I just walked In the door to try to get a couple of hours sleep, but I had to write through sobbing, how very much all my YT family prayers me and how deeply I appreciate you all. pat is still on the ventilator, at this point they don't want to pull it because he isn't responding to commands. They want him to rest and give his brain time to heal. Positive news!! Today they took him down for a CT scan and they didn't have to bag him, he breathed on his own the entire time! I'm typing and sob king at the same time, so overjoyed. All limbs are now responding to stimulation and/or pain. His sedation is backed off every hour and he is checked, tonight was the first he has actually yanked his right side. I will try to post again, but not sure when I can. Lila will post with news as changes come. Please keep the prayers coming. Night! |

As bad as it is it sounds like he is responding well and prayers are working. I will continue to keep you both as well as the medical professionals in my prayers. My prayers are that he continues to move toward a full recovery. |
