Up for another day of non-stop fervent prayer for Pat. This sad situation was on my mind all day yesterday.... how quickly bad things can happen and how fragile we all are. And how quickly our lives can be changed. Praying for more good news today... but no rush, as healing takes time. I pray for God to keep Pat in His Healing Embrace and to see him through a complete recovery. And praying for strength for Tena.... God Bless you both. |

Oh, my.....I just saw this post. Praying for healing and peace. May God heal Pat and give peace to his family. Hugs to all and may you feel God's presence as you go through out your day. Miracles happen, just believe! |

Oh Tena...my heart breaks for you and your dear husband! I will be praying for a complete and full recovery. Accidents happen in the blink of an eye and are so life changing. I hadn't seen this as I haven't had time to be on the computer. Patti told me today, so I will now be praying. Hugs and love to you and your hbby! |
Get well cards If anyone would like to send Pat/Tena a card, please PM me for the address. I believe Pat will appreciate them when he wakes up. Tena could also use the encouragement as she goes through this with Pat. |

dog May the healing power of Jesus surround Pat and bring him totally out of this healed and rejoicing. May the army of angels continue to be at his bedside and rejoice as they see Pat responding to the healing power of Jesus. Our awesome Lord sees all that is going on and hears all our prayers. He is our Master and Life Support. He is in control and He will carry Pat through all these trials. Amen |

Continued prayers, please. Pat rested comfortably yesterday. They are keeping him sedated so his brain can rest. He has very traumatic frontal lobe injury. I pray today that his body will show improvement in his condition. Tena really needs extra prayer today. This is hitting her really hard and is taking a toll on her. Her son is coming in today to be with them. |

I just talked with Tena. She wanted me to update everyone. Here is what she said........."Doctor was in and cut his sedation in half today to see if they can get Pat to wake up. She said he did open his eyes briefly but still didn't follow any commands. If he doesnt wake up, they will do another CT." I will update again late today. |
Thank you so much for the update and letting us know how Pat is doing. I have been praying for you both, Tena, and pray that the love of God will flood you with faith, hope and peace as Pat heals. If he's not in a large city hospital with a traumatic brain injury acute care program I would urge you to get him transferred to one of those to be certain that he is getting the benefit of a top notch neuro-trauma team. In most cases, bigger really is better and the bigger, more famous hospitals simply have the funding and gravitas to attract the best of the best. Where trauma to the brain is concerned, you want the best for Pat. I'm thinking of you sitting there worried and scared and so wish I could drop by and pray with you, sit with you and hold your hand. Hopefully you have family and friends and a support group with you and I know having your dear son there will make a world of difference. Please, please know that you two are being covered with constant prayer and we are lifting Pat up to God all day and night. |
oh my I hardly check this forum. Tena my heart is breaking for you, I am praying with everyone else that he will responds soon. sounds like he is very strong and has pulled through a lot so far so he is surely a fighter. |
