Here is my "short lecture". If your brother offered to come, if you need help with the pups, let him come. I know the feeling, about not wanting to inconvenience anyone with your pups, but think of it as your duty to let others help you when you are in need. It'sa full circle - you help the pups in need, your brother help you with the pups when you are in need. You are so blessed having a sibling who is willing to do that for you. Look to a happy healthy future taking care of your beloved rescues.

My brother lives far away. I do have my son close by and a good friend who helped when I had surgery last year. Hopefully I won't need too much. My pups are quite a handful. Five of them are on home cooked diets. I will have to do some cooking ahead of time for them. I just hate not being able to do things myself, but yes, I will accept help and I am grateful that I do have people who will help.

Indeed! It is easier to tell them than to do it yourself. Trust me. I almost cancelled the bone marrow biopsy on Thursday because one of my fosters was scheduled for surgery. I ended up realizing how stupid that was...her surgery can wait. I ended up rescheduling her surgery.

While I did not reply individually to all of you, I have read each post a couple of times. I am so grateful to you all for your well wishes, kind words....and your prayers. I believe in the power of prayer. I am actually much more relaxed about things tonight....probably because of the prayers!!

My biopsy is being done at the main campus of MD Anderson on Thursday morning. I opted to go there because they will sedate me. I am a chicken and don't do invasive tests well. Besides, I know that those things hurt like hell. I will be relieved to know what this is and have a plan going forward.

I am so glad you will have sedation! I didn't know that was possible -- too many hospital TV shows, I suppose.

I just cannot imagine you being a chicken about anything. But, glad you had the choice to be sedated for the tests. Prayers and hugs.
