Callie started improving on Saturday, the 22nd...late in the afternoon. By yesterday she was out of oxygen and walking around the ICU at GCVS. Her foster parents came home yesterday and went to see her.

We believe she will be discharged today after the cardiologist sees her.

Her meds were increased and are at the highest amount that they can give. So, our sweet Callie is on borrowed time; but she has a wonderful foster home and she will be loved until that time comes.

And honest to God, Linda if it weren't for you she wouldn't be here today. All of the little ones that have come into your life have benefitted from your care and dedication. Hopefully things really are turning around with them and especially with you. You are never far from my thoughts and prayers my friend.

It really is starting to be a bit more peaceful. Trying not to get too excited about that because as soon as I do, something happens. The day that Callie got so sick was one I was celebrating because I did not have any appts for pups or myself...then bang!

I am glad to hear Callie will be home where she can feel the love she needs. She will know she was very loved when that time comes. Praying she has as long as possible here with her foster parents.

I am so glad to read that Callie has some improvement and will be able to go home. Prayers do still continue for her.

My oncologist just called me to tell me that the Oncotype DX test is back and I am at low risk of recurrence. So...no chemo!!

She is going to speak with the surgeon about when I can have radiation...it will be up to him since I still have the seroma or whatever this mess is and they cannot start until that is cleared up.

All I can say is PHEW!

My George and Teddy Bear are doing well and things have been quiet this week. Hopefully the bad streak is over!

Oh, Linda, what an answer to prayer. Thank the Lord. My mom had radiation with her breast cancer and no chemo and she did so well. I'm so grateful to hear this I don't know what to do!!! So glad to hear those pups are doing better, too. I know that lifts your spirits. What good news.
