Thanks everyone!! After tomorrow there will be ONE DAY!!! I will be clanging the bell on the wall...they have them at all of the radiation spots...when someone finishes their treatments, they ring it!

Indeed....I failed there as well. I was a very lucky person to have awakened when I did...I could just as easily have put it off even longer. I always find things to do that are not for me.

Dear Linda,

I am just reading this thread now. I'm so sorry you have been through so much recently but thrilled to hear you "RANG THAT BELL" and successfully finished your treatment.

Your grace and bravery is an inspiration.

Linda...I'm just reading this thread. I'm so, so sorry to hear all that you have been through. My mom is a breast cancer survivor of 15 years now. I remember the fear we all had during that time. I'm glad you rang that bell!!

I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved pets.

You are a very strong and brave woman because, I believe, God puts no more on us than we can handle. You are in my thoughts and prayers while you continue to recouperate from your treatments.

I was beginning to wonder about that for a while (about not getting more than you can handle) ....I even started thinking crazy...that God knew I was going to die so he was taking my pups so that I would not have to worry about them. Crazy huh? I had to get out of that frame of mind or I would have flipped.

No, its not crazy. Anyone of us would have had those same thoughts. Sometimes it just seems like when it rains it pours. But...when that rain stops pouring we can always find the rainbow if we look hard enough. Easier said than done sometimes. But you are on the high road now woman!! Ain't nuthin' gonna keep you down!!

OMG!! How did I ever miss this thread!?! I knew nothing about your illness Linda and I feel terrible about that and not being able to pray specifically for your healing. I am happy to hear that you knocked it out of the park anyway.
I only found this as I received my calendar yesterday and I saw this picture of Gabby on the Rainbow page and I was thinking did I miss that Gabby went to the rainbow bridge, so I put in a search for "Gabby" and this was one of the threads that popped up.
Guess I will have to spend a little more time reading up on my Yorkie Talk friends. Sorry

Oh no worries...no need to apologize. I miss threads all of the time. So far I am doing fairly well...I had some problems with the med they wanted me to take for five years....and there are some other issues they found on a CT scan..so I will take prayers now..thanks!
But I am feeling much better...and things are thankfully a bit quieter.
