I am trying to upload pictures and colors I have made to match the pic. It keeps saying I've gone over my limit. Just what is my limit and what can I do to get them uploaded. They are smaller than what I am said I am allowed. This is confusing and frustrating.

As a regular member your album space is limited, and you have to use it wisely. Donating members get a much larger allotment for album space. I noticed your album contains many fairly large pictures of your dog; you can have fewer pictures, or make them smaller. For your wallpaper album only a very small picture is necessary because YT tiles the picture, so it's easy to have lots of pictures in the wallpaper album.

Many members use a photo hosting site such as Photobucket for pictures of their dogs and other graphic comments, and just link the pictures, when they want to post a picture on someone's profile page. hi ive been on here trying to post attachments, for halloween contest, from yesterday lol, i havin trouble ,,,,, ive read everything, and even downloaded the site u recomend and still no luck here goes, last my last attempt, loli think i done it, but do i have to resize every attachment every time

The default size for most cameras use to be so much smaller than today cameras; some of them take pictures large enough for a wide screen TV, so you have to make sure you picture is small enough for Yorkietalk to accept. A good rule is no side should be over 9 inches. Your picture is actually 10x8 inches, but it's still under the size limit of 200 kb, and part of this is determined by size and other things, such as amount of colors, used in a picture. That's a cute picture, I'm making a Halloween video, and the picture you submitted to the Halloween contest didn't turn out as well as this one so, I'll include it in the video if you don't mind.

Photo editors suggested IrfanView and PhotoFiltre are not compatible with Mac are they? If not, anyone know how another? I need to resize my photos they are too large.

Gimp works on Mac, not sure what your version is, but Gimp seems to have a version for most computers. GIMP - for Mac OS X If you don't find it there just do a google with your version of Mac and the word Gimp. Gimp is a wonderful free program and it rivals Photoshop in capabilities. Lots of tutorials on the web and U-tube too.

I have already added a pic to my user profile and to my photo album...please help.

Okay I am having trouble uploading pictures into my new album. The are pictures from my iphone that I have emailed then saved to my computer. When I try to upload them it says it is an ivalid file?!? Any help would be great.....I want to show off my new furbaby Knox

Could be a couple of things, first they could be the wrong type of file, Yorkietalk only accepts gif, jpeg, jpg, and png files, or the file size may be too big, a picture can be no larger than:

Maximum File Size per Picture 195.3 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels

Do you have any graphic programs in your computer like "Paint". I think you can use that to change the file into a JPEG. Bitmap pictures also known as bmp. files take up much more space, so they are not a good file to use. You phone may give you other options on saving, you might want to check that. If you don't have a graphics program, there is great one that is linked in this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ng-avatar.html. It's called photoscape and you can use it to edit pictures make moving avatars (animated gifs), and also to change file types. You can just open a bmp picture in it and save it as a JPEG, you can also resize with that program.
