Do you have any graphic programs in your computer like "Paint". I think you can use that to change the file into a JPEG. Bitmap pictures also known as bmp. files take up much more space, so they are not a good file to use. You phone may give you other options on saving, you might want to check that. If you don't have a graphics program, there is great one that is linked in this thread:
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ng-avatar.html. It's called photoscape and you can use it to edit pictures make moving avatars (animated gifs), and also to change file types. You can just open a bmp picture in it and save it as a JPEG, you can also resize with that program.
