| Please pray for a tiny baby outside in Colorado tonight!!! There is a situation .... have to get all the details ... there is a little Yorkie boy about 14 months and about 2 lbs. The man hates him, the Mom and the children love him! He has some medical problems and can't seem to get potty trained. They have a new house & the man wants him gone!! He actually kicked him across the room when he hiked his leg last night!! He is making him sleep outside and their yard isn't even fenced! I won't sleep until I know he is safe and warm. The biggest problem is he started coughing last night, was taken to the ER and he has kennel cough. They gave him a shot and medication but it will be a while before it's safe for him to be around other animals. We are desperately looking for someone with no pet to at least keep him until he is over the kennel cough! I don't think it will be any problem at all to find him a good home, even with medical problems, after he has recovered. For now we just desperately want to find a way for him to be safe & warm!! He is a bundle of energy, a real sweetheart and get this .... he loves children!! Just keep this little one in your prayers ... and pray that we can help him soon!!

| What is the deal with the wife? Is she abused to? If not the hell with him bring puppy in until they find a place for him. I wouldn't let him get away with that crap. Can't you call someone and report him. Its breaking my heart to think that that poor baby is outside alone in this cold and anything can happen. Keep us posted, he is in our prayers..poor baby |

| WTF is wrong with the WIFE? Sounds like she needs a spine to me. That poor baby, if I was in that area I'd take him in a heartbeat

| Oh Bettyeanne, I would take him until he is better. I am in Colorado, but I have 3 other dogs and I don't want them to get kennel cough too. Keep me posted on this little guy. I belong to two yorkie groups here. The Denver Yorkie group and the Yorkshire terrior meetup. I am sure somebody there would take him. Let me know how he is doing.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That poor baby. Someone has to take him. If someone has healthy dogs they could keep him isolated and even if they catch it it s easily treated. I feel so bad for that poor thing. I would at least try calling animal control if you see it outside tonight,

| I hope someone can take him in but you can't have any other pets unless your dog has the kennel cough shot. I am praying for the little guy. |

| Update ... The little one in inside at home for the moment!!! Thanks so much for all your prayers and concern. He will be picked up on Friday. A little more about his background .... he was bought for "big bucks" when he was about 5 months and was evidently raised with lots of other pups and never learned not to pee & poop in his pen or crate. The breeder assured them that he was in perfect health [you all know how that goes!] and it's obvious to the vet that there is a health problem but can't seem to pin it down. He has gotten good results on all his tests but his BUN score continues to rise. That is a mystery right now, but he will be seeing a new vet to rule out a physical problem. These people have already spent several thousand dollars trying to get to the bottom of this to no avail. Sounds to me like they are being taken for a ride by the vet but with copies of all his testing, etc. and a new vet, we are hoping to solve this "mystery"! IF it turns out to be behavioral ... then the little guy is in for some "tough love" potty training!! The person that will be fostering him has agreed to do this for this little one. If it's physical, we will get the problem addressed .... if it's behavior, when he is properly potty trained, he will be returned to his Mom. She and the children absolutely love this little guy and it's tearing them to pieces to think of giving him up. He is a sweet little fireball with the exception of this problem and a couple of common things, i.e., barking, mouthing, etc. which can easily be corrected. He just pees & poops anywhere he darn well pleases .... even in his water bowl!! I'm praying that this is just due to not being educated and that it can be corrected and he can go back home and live a long, happy little Yorkie life!! Again, thank you all for your prayers and I will come back & update this thread as it changes and we learn new information. I can hardly wait for the new vet to examine/test him and hopefully pronounce him healthy!!
