| Poor Lovey, I hope she feels better soon. Sadly I too see this thing all the time, we recently took in a couple yorkies (look full bred) from the city shelter where they had been picked up as strays. I don't understand why people would dump them when so many people love yorkies, I am sure someone would have taken it in, a rescue, humane society, heck even the city shelter is better than the side of the road. I tried to rescue a stray I saw today and ended up also finding an abandoned house with a couple big dogs left in the back yard to fend for them selves. The lack of caring or some people still baffles me but then their are the people that care enough to make up for that

| She is doing well, thank you! She is able to walk fairly well and is eating. I keep her on pain meds around the clock. She does seem more relaxed now .. she was tense before I think out of fear of being touched. I don't go near her belly and she is always happy now to lay back and be petted. Very sweet little girl.

Of course in her case, we don't know her history...and she does not know that some human chose to left her severely injured at the side of the road in the cold rain. But I have had some that did know that humans did what they did to them and yet they still were the sweetest pups ever.

| Thanks for the update Linda, I've been thinking of Lovey all day. I'm so happy to see she's eating and walking although she's in pain. Knowing this precious girl is now more relaxed and willing to be petted brings tears of joy to my eyes. Continued prayers for her recovery. |

| Lovey is fine...but still has a considerable amount of pain. I had put her in my lap the other day while changing her bedding and she started screaming and nipping. It was awful...the surgeon said he is not surprised given the amount of damage she suffered. She has an appt this coming week to have her sutures removed. I will then get her in the tub if I can. She is just so dirty...makes me sad.
