Poor Lovey, I hope she feels better soon. Sadly I too see this thing all the time, we recently took in a couple yorkies (look full bred) from the city shelter where they had been picked up as strays. I don't understand why people would dump them when so many people love yorkies, I am sure someone would have taken it in, a rescue, humane society, heck even the city shelter is better than the side of the road. I tried to rescue a stray I saw today and ended up also finding an abandoned house with a couple big dogs left in the back yard to fend for them selves. The lack of caring or some people still baffles me but then their are the people that care enough to make up for that
