Yes, they do expect her to be fine. She is just weak. I gave her pain meds this morning, let her eat and then I took her outside for a walk. She can only walk short distances before she just plops down. She is just weak...they said that she may need physical therapy. We won't know that for a few weeks though. I was just concerned because she had not passed any urine overnight...I had her in a large crate with pee pads but she slept on them instead of the blankets and she did not pee anywhere. She did pee outside...so that is good.

| Poor Lovey, hope she'll continue to improve...maybe she's used to peeing outside. Poor girl, Thank you Linda for taking care of her!

| Just seeing this today. Praying for comfort and recovery for Lovey. Another heartbreaking situation that may have a happy ending due to rescue angels.

| I'm so grateful you are there to care for her. It looks like she is out of danger as far as internal injuries. I'm praying she recovers and that this is the beginning of a great life for her.

| Yesterday was a long day. Lovey did not void much and I was so worried. Called the specialist a couple of times; but this morning was better. She voided on her pee pad in her crate and when I took her out for a walk she had a BM!! She is SO painful it breaks my heart....yesterday I barely touched her abdomen and she screamed and nipped at me. Poor thing... But, this morning, she actually rolls back a bit as if asking for belly rubs!! So, I know she is trusting me. I give her little chest rubs. The specialist called this morning and we spoke about her pain...she really seems ok unless touched. He said that there is nothing we can do to totally remove her pain...that if she is resting comfortably, then she is ok. She did sleep all night so I am sure it is controlled until she has to move around. Here are pics of her rolling back and lifting her front leg. Note that while doing it, she is watching....she is always on guard of her abdomen. Poor little baby girl. I cannot imagine how painful it must be. lovey_feb2014.jpg lovey_feb2014b.jpg

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | He is all blondie, and very soft and shiny. When he's cut short, he literally feels like velvet. Look how much he looks like her....

| He is a little doll! Time will tell with her....not sure what she will look like when clean. I hate that she is as dirty as she is.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Poor little sweet thing! LJ as you know, I used to drive all over and can honestly say we saw more strays in Texas than anywhere else in the country. Truly heartbreaking. So glad this little one is in Rescue now and will get what she needs!

| They are very saggy actually and we think the puppies were probably already weaned. They look puffy when she is lying down but they are pretty empty/saggy looking when she walks. I cannot get near them due to the extreme pain when she is touched in that area. That is where all of the damage was done...lots of muscles in that area. Poor baby girl...makes me sick.
