Just saw and caught up with this thread...oh man I am emotional tonight! YHR THANK YOU...Lovey wouldn't even be here...thanks to these cruel people..she'd have been euth'd if not for y'all and look at her WALKING!! Angels on Earth, you lot are.

She really is here because of the ladies who fought for her. Sure, we took her in, but if they had not networked as they did she would not be here. So sad...she is young and has a whole life ahead of her.

Lovey gets her sutures removed tomorrow! I am hopeful she will be able to tolerate a bath after that. She was moving around a bit more today and actually walked out of her crate. She usually waits for me to pick her up.

Anxious to hear how the vet thinks she's coming along! I can't believe she's moving around as well as she is already. Until Lovely, I had always thought a broken pelvic bone was more or less a death sentence for animals as I've seen them get put to sleep for it. So glad u guys decided to save her and do the operation. It looks like she's recovering well... and she deserves a chance at a good life with a loving family.

It was a great day for Lovey!! She woke up feeling really well. I was amazed at the difference. SHe is letting me touch her everywhere so in the next day or two I will get her in the tub.

Her sutures were removed and they were happy with how she looks and how she is walking. Of course the walking will remain at a minimum for now. There was some concern because her temp was 103.5 but after a half hour it was down to 101.7 so they think she was just excited. They advised me to let them know if there are any signs of infection anywhere.

One of our foster parents and her foster pup, Audrey, met us and we all went to Starbucks for lunch because it is close to GCVS and there are tables outside. They have these cute concrete animals there....so we made like we were taking the girls on a concrete safari.
