| You all are so sweet. Remember that I am not alone in these ventures. There are many, many people who are saving these pups. YHR has great members and supporters. Many of our supporters are YTers and you all rock for what you do!

| So happy to hear that surgery went well and that she is eating a little and standing. All good signs! Hopefully not in a lot of pain. Poor baby! She is in good hands now. Really makes you wonder how she and so many others end up on the streets in the first place. Scary and sad!

Yes, the plight of these babies is really very scary and sad. Houston has a terrible stray dog problem...beyond anything I have ever heard of.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog God bless you for saving this sweet Yorkie. In our eyes all Yorkies are very precious and that vet should be spanked for turning away that hurt homeless dog. | Just seeing this thread and sounds like she is making some improvements. What a horrible story for this little girl and so glad you took her under the YHR wings. Will be checking back for updates and in the meantime I will keep you both in my prayers. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Omg, bless her precious little soul, this darling baby! Poor thing . I'm so freaked out thinking she had those puppies outside and they're alone...it's killing me thinking of what that would mean . This is ONE time that I almost pray she is pregnant instead. Thank god she is with you.

Kind of speculating that she may have been dumped by someone after the litter was weaned. Very sad case. So many of them end up mysteries like this....this one is the worst because of the possibility of puppies.

| Poor little girl~Glad you guys decided to take her on and get her fixed up. She's awfully cute. As much as I'd like to think her owners are looking for her, with her being unspayed and bred and not even a microchip, you've gotta wonder. It looks like she's been groomed within the past few months though.... Was she found around a residential area or was she found in the middle of nowhere where you know she had to have been dumped? Is this the hwy that goes to Corpus Christi?? If so, it's also a big dumping grounds for dead human bodies as well and they were calling it the Texas killing fields. | Lovey was discharged today. She is still very weak and does not move around very much. Seeing her try to stand and walk is disturbing. Very, very wobbly. Hopefully tomorrow will show some improvement.
