She is so precious Ladyjane and we all thank you so much for giving her the tender loving care that you do. The pictures just rip your heart out when you think of the suffering she has had to endure.

She rips mine every time I look at her. I am just horrified that she has been treated so badly. She will follow me around...come to me and wag her tail...but, then duck her head down when I reach for her. :( So unsure. Makes me sick.

Poor baby girl. :( Makes me so sick to think what all she has been through. Hoping for a speedy recovery for her. And lots and lots of love in the future.

Just got home from the EC. I was getting ready to give Summer her night meds and when I picked her up her neck was damp. I looked and she had an open area on the other side of her neck that was not there before. It was draining and I got worried and took her in. It was the shortest trip ever to the EC...I was the only one in there! Anyway...the vet was great...she said it was just an opening along the drainage tract. She started Summer back on Clavamox...so now she is on that along with Baytril and Metronidazole.

Oh my, for Summer. Sounds like the two of you were up late last night and glad it was not worse. Bet being in an empty ER was kind of weird feeling.

I know Clavamox is an antibiotic, are the other two medicines antibiotics or something else?

Every abused/neglected dog should be so lucky as to come into your care Linda. Thanks for all you do. She looks amazingly sweet and loving and in time staying with you she won't flinch when someone tries to pick her up..poor baby.

Good Bless you Linda, I am just reading this with tears rolling down my face. That poor sweet precious baby, your heart just breaks for her and all she has gone through. What an incredible lady you are and she is one blessed little one to have you and your wonderful vets in her life. You are her angel sent to her so she can know a life of love and trust. Thanks for all you do. Love the pictures of that sweet little face and those loving little eyes. Please keep us posted and give her hugs and kisses from Lexi and I. I am so sorry I have missed this post...we will keep you and her in our thoughts and prayers. What a brave little girl you have....

Still keeping sweet Summer in my thoughts and prayers. My heart breaks for her. I am thankful there are angels like you LadyJane. She truly needed one.
