OMG She just is the cutest!!! It is unbelievable that her past owners could have been so uncaring about such a precious little sweetie. Thank God she is no longer with them.

She really is a pretty girl...and so precious. I cannot believe how friendly she is after being treated so horribly. :( She did growl at the vet techs dogs, but they are larger than her and I am sure they frightened her. I will bring her here in the near future to see how she does with my pups.

Yes, she really is! She will blossom in time. I wish we could get her groomed...but not yet.

She has such a sweet little face and such beautiful eyes. How could you not fall in love with her? I'm so glad she's improving. Thank you for the update.

Linda, what a pretty, pretty girl. I'm sorry, but I still get so angry when I see these pictures of her and wonder how anyone could not only let that happen to her, but let it go unattended for so long. She is so tiny, frail and helpless...how on earth can someone let a baby get in that shape and not do something??? As quickly as my rant is over, my praise for you begins...had it not been for you giving of your time and resources so freely, no telling what would have happened to this precious baby girl. Thank you for always being there for these little ones!

I cringe when I see some of these pictures, and wake up in the middle of the night thinking about Summer. Seeing her sweet face in the last pic is so beautiful; you can just see what a precious girl she is.

God Bless everyone who is taking care of her daily, as the rest of us send prayers.

When you think of how many of us rush our dogs to the vet for something as little as a bump or pimple, it is unbelievable that any human can let a dog be in such bad shape without getting immediate help.

Oh Sweet Summer, keep getting better and receive all the prayers and love we are sending your way.

I am still stunned over this one. I cannot comprehend allowing an animal to suffer the way that she did.

I honestly don't know how she is so sweet. She lets them do anything to her...no complaints and runs to people instead of away which is what I would expect.
