I just read all 11 pages and am in tears. Have to admit I only read LadyJanes posts. What a wonderful little girl and so strong. I can't even imagine what she's been through :( Or what she is feeling. Nothing but happiness for this baby now. Praying for her and look forward to seeing her progress!!!!

Summer is so pretty and once she is healed she is going to be even more beautiful. It is hard to look at that neck and imagine what kind of pain she must be in. I hope she gets to come home with you soon.

I agree, Summer is a beautiful girl and it sounds like she has the personality to match her good looks. (how could any human allow her to suffer :(:(:()

She remains in my prayers for a speedy and full recovery. Her future forever family will be lucky to have her. She deserves to be spoiled with lots of affection and love.

I honestly don't know how she is so sweet. She lets them do anything to her...no complaints and runs to people instead of away which is what I would expect.

Love seeing the pictures and hearing she walked to you Ladyjane. It is amazing that she can be that sweet, with all the pain she must be going through.

I brought Summer to my home yesterday afternoon and she is doing ok. She does have a dreadful cough...woke me up in the middle of the night with it. I thought she was gagging or vomiting, but it was that cough.

She is a doll and so good with anything I do with her; but I did not like irrigating her neck wound and applying the granulex and silvadene cream, so she will be going to the vet daily for that treatment.

I got my groomer to trim her hair a bit. She is sleeping right now. I will get some pics later on and post them. You can see her eyes now! :)

So glad to hear she is "home" and under your care. She sounds like such a sweetheart. That poor little thing. I'm glad her luck has turned around and she is now blessed with someone who will show her love. Can't wait to see the pics of this precious little soul.

She is difficult to take pics of. She spends a lot of time with her head down. :( I did bait her with some peanut butter and got a few pics. Even though she is sweet, there is an element of sadness. It is heartbreaking. She flinched a couple of times today when I reached for her. :( Hopefully, in time she will forget the horrible things she has been through.

She is so precious. I mad me sad to hear she flinched when you reached for her. I do not even want to imagine what that sweet baby has gone through. I am happy Summer's Fall will be the beginning of a wonderful life full of only love and kindness.

LJ, she is such a sweetheart! What a pretty little girl! Her face is just precious, although you can kind of see some sadness in her eyes. Who could treat such a pretty little girl the way she has been treated? We will be praying not only her physical wounds heal, but her heart and mind heal from what was done to her.

Thanks so much for sharing her pics. I know the husband will want to see them too. He thinks there is just something about her that is just so endearing.

What a pretty baby girl! I do hope she forgets all this terrible stuff and can go on to have a wonderful new life. It is just heartbreaking! :( So glad you got her Linda.
