| I hope everything is going better! I agree with ladyjane. If it is neurological, it doesn't have to be major. Good luck!

And when you find out what you are dealing with, you will then find out how to treat Max. ![]() My Lady has "something neurological" - epilepsy. She's had it since I adopted her at age four. She is now 14.5 and still going strong. Her epilepsy is managed with medications and she hasn't had a seizure in a few years.

| You know how our minds run. I'm just thinking 'what if it's not something treatable?'. I'll do everything I can possibly do to treat him. I hope to have answers in the next couple of days.

| A lady bought a tiny Yorkie girl from me about 10 years ago. She was only 3 lbs full grown. I told her not to put the dog on heartworm meds as we dont have many mosquitos in her area and it would make her sick. Besides, this dog was always indoors except to go potty. You could lightly spray her with a bug repellant for dogs before going outside. Well, her vet told her to put her on heartworm. I dont know if it was Sentinel or Heartguard. But that puppy was sick from then on. If I remember correctly, lots of nuero issues and digestion problems. That pup was at the vets at least every couple of weeks after that. I told her to take her off the heart meds but she would only listen to her vet. All tests showed nothing. I dont know the final outcome of her as this lady, herself, got very ill and moved away. But I do know that this puppy wasnt sick a day in her life until she was put on heart meds. I had her for 8 months before I thought I had found the right home for her. I sure hope you find some answers for Max. Maybe it is just the heartworm meds. You and Max are in my thoughts and prayers.

| Vet just called. BAT results are normal. He is not sure at this point what is going on. He spoke with Novartis and they said it's a very rare chance that it could be the Sentinel and if it was, it should be out of his system in 4 days. It's 7 days now. He is referring me to LSU which hopefully we can go to today or tomorrow. For some reason he still thinks it's some kind of liver issue.

I am sure your vet knows what is best for Max. It definately could be a liver problem also.
