I'm confused. Was the bleeding from a perforation or not? If it was, why wouldn't the 2nd vet put him on an antibiotic? He would be at high risk for septecemia otherwise.

Gotta go back and re-read your posting again- I'm trying to take it all in on an itty bitty phone screen, so I've probably missed something.

And, if it is a perforation, seems to me it would require surgery??? If the bleeding continues I think he needs to be seen again. Glad he is doing better, but I still feel worried.

I just read your posts. I cannot believe that a vet would give a pup an enema for no reason - that is ludicrous! Anyway, I'm so glad to hear you were able to get Deucy seen by a vet who knows what they are doing. I am also happy to hear that Deucy is feeling better and eating and acting like his old self!

Uni is on metro now as well but hers is liquid and is .8 cc every 12 hours. Don't know how that converts into mg.

Glad Deucy is doing better. What a nightmare!

Hi Brenda, I am soooooo thankful to hear you were able to get Deucy to the Lady Vet in Ft.Scott and that he was doing some better. Will keep prayers going for him and you. I am absolutely heartsick at all you and Deucy have been put through with the first Vet.

Will be checking here tomorrow for update on Deucy, hoping you both are resting and sleeping at this time, it is after mid night there. Sure hope the bleeding has stopped completely by now.

I also know what you are going through financially Brenda, then to have this all happen, something you sure didn't need. I pray all things will get better for you. Hang in there and keep looking up am sure God has something there waiting for the door to open in employment. This ole life has so many obstacles at times that jumps out in our way and causes us to wonder....what next.

I want to let others here know I will be posting something to sell in the garage section here at YT soon and the money that is recieved will go to Brenda because we know she sure could use it at this time.

Thanks to everyone that has posted to Brenda, we are so thankful to be a member here at YT, I sat here and read each ones postings, thanking God for caring and loving souls here on YT. This thread is depictive of what Yorkie Talk is all about, thanks to the Admin. for continually striving for improvement of the site here, and for it being here. I am so thankful Brenda was able to know where to come to get support and help from those that care, and where YT'ers Prayers are MIGHTY.

Love you Brenda and sending hug to you and Little Deucy.

Well, I thought Deucy was getting better but, this am I watched him go to potty pad and try to poop........what little he had in him and MORE BRIGHT RED BLOOD. I don't know how long this will continue. I can't begin to tell you how absolutely LIVID I am over this. I've reported the Vet, Dr. Jack Johnson, Broadway Animal Hospital, Pittsburg KS to the BBB and the Kansas Board of Veterinary Examiiners. I could NOT find a link on AMVA to report him as someone had mentioned here. If anyone can find a link on AMVA site, please, EMAIL me at dandme2010@gmail.com

Waiting for Vet to call me today. PLEASE, keep praying for my little man!!
