I am feeding him what the GOOD Vet told me to (I/D soft food, 1 tblsp twice a day). However, this am, he would not eat it and his Flagl pill was hidden inside. He WANTS HIS crunchy Science Diet food something awful and continues to tell me so. SO, I made him a tablespoon of scrambled egg with a little syrup mixed in and man, did he GOBBLE that down. It wasn't much because we're still not out of the woods with his intestinal injury from the BUTCHERER VET. I called the Vet's office this am as I never received a call yesterday (Sunday) as they stated..Still waiting for her to call me back to see if I can give him some of his crunchy, small bites Science Diet regular food. He is acting so much more like normal now....barking at passing vehicles to protect me!! He is also getting the FortiFlora once daily in his food so, he doesn't need yogurt.

ask her if you can soak his crunchy food down as when mine have intestinal issues I soak the kibble so it is easier to digest and not so hard on the intestines

Today, Duecy had his first real poop since the BAD vet injured him with a UNneeded enema. It was a solid stool but had streaks of blood running through...not much but...still there. He has been acting like his old self all day today...barking and playing!! He still must be by my side every minute..which I LOVE.
After the Vet finally called me yesterday, I asked her if I could give him his regulary crunchy science diet food that he's always loved. She said I could. He's been chowing down since and drinking water..all he wants.
Little stinker is so darn cute and I thank GOD and all of your prayers that he is recovering!!!!!!!!!!

Deucy had his FIRST "NO BLOOD" poo just now!!!!!! You all should have seen me picking it up with a napkin, putting my glasses on and examining it as he watched in wonder.... Priceless. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Connie, I am going to call Patti today from my tracfone as soon as my INTERVIEW is finished. I have an interview at a school district only 2 miles from me today!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! This would truly be a blessing......getting a REAL job again!!!! Any and all prayers are welcome! We all know the power of prayer!!!!! Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!! And, Deucy says, "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRUF"

That is such wonderful news!! It always makes me smile to realize other yorkie moms inspect poo, too. I'm so happy for you and Duecy.

that is awesome - so glad DEUCY has a mom that is sharp and follows her instincts and stands up for him. I know he is in good hands with you and you will always do the right thing for him

Sorry you had to go through this and him as well.
