| My friend is Linda, but she doesn't show.....She is listed on all my dogs Registrations as the breeder, but she's never whelped a litter, she's just half owner of all the dogs.

| this is why i get sick to my stomach everytime i have to take them in unless i go to a specialist that i know as dex has this crusty nose so all my vet buds on vet group are saying could be dry eye and he was tested with schirmer 2 years ago so i called opthamologist and she said yeah that is a sign of dry eye he needs to be rechecked so $190 160 for visit 30 for test so he has to have blood work and urine for dental so i take pics to vet and tell tech now remember he almost died of pancreatitis i see her write this all down and that he was tested for dry eye as he gets goopy eye 2 years ago so the tech calls me back and says to supplement him with flaxseed or fish oil - ok i almost fell out of my chair and said ok you did tell her he almost died of pancreatitis right? I said yeah you need to ask her topically or internally knowing why would u use topically those things as u would use coconut oil topically so she calls me back and says topically lolll i think to save face - no way would i ever give him after a year of pure nightmare give this dog a fatty acid supplement - he vomitted for 8 hrs on a steamed yam the size of my pinky he got when i pilled dd - so now i am like seriously are you kidding me so I am going to probably take him to opthamologist after that I said did she say this could be dry eye ? as several vets came back with dry eye since yorkies are prone and i know in humans as you age you get dry eye and why many people cannot wear contacts as their eyes are more dry like myself so it would make sense and the canal down to nostril is from tear duct as to determine if tear ducts are blocked they put dye in them at opthamologist and if the dye does not come out the nostril then they know there is a blockage so it would make sense the dry nostril would be associated with dry eye and it says the nostril that is dry that eye associated with it can have dry eye KCS |

My, my.....it's one thing after another with your kids....they have more problems than any breeder has encountered in years of breeding. It's time to get the kids ready for their late nite snack and bed....so I'm signing off...

| Histoplasmosis I cant hold back my tears as I write this but Lola had a recheck today with the specialist and they wanted to check her liver function since she is on this heavy duty medicine, itraconazole. Just got a call and her liver specs are high 126 and should be 118, her non spec is also high 146 should be 131, her albumin is low 2.4. She was running a slight fever 103. She needs to be seen again in 10 days. Might just be the infection or that the fungus is in her liver. I am sick to my stomach. I carry her everywhere with me. She is eating good and drinking. I have been feeding her whatever she likes. Chicken peas sweet potato. Please pray for my girl. This has been 7 months of h***. I am sorry if I keep writing, I just feel so helpless. |
