YT 2000 Club Member | Thanks a bunch Nancy, crossing everything here that she continues to improve. If not, I think I'm just gonna rip my hair out. My goodness she can really worry me at times.

YT 2000 Club Member | Well today started off crappy again. Maggy May puked first thing this morning, but I'm thinking it's cause the last time she ate was last night at 6:00 in the evening, I think it was just to long. So, I'm going to space her feedings out further today so that I can feed her later into the evening, hopefully that will help her lil tummy not be so upset tomorrow morning.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I'm sorry Maggy May is still vomiting. It may very well be the exposure to the turtle. A salmonella infection doesn't require direct contact...it's possible to get sick just from having a turtle in the house and one of the symptoms...is vomiting. I think a return trip to the vet's may be in order.

YT 2000 Club Member | Well, the plan to spread Maggy May's feedings out so I could feed her up into the evening so she wouldn't puke in the AM worked, so far, no vomit at all whatsoever today, YAYY!! But now we have a new problem. She won't go poop. She didn't poop at all yesterday so I'm gettin a bit nervous here again. Normally she goes potty in the house on the puppy pad, when I take her out into the yard, within the first two minutes she goes. I tried taking her out this AM, but it's just to darn cold to keep her out there at the moment. It rained last night, the grass is wet, it's windy and pretty nippy. Hopefully it warms up soon and I can take her back out and she'll go. I'd thought about giving her some pumpkin, but with all the trouble she's had vomiting lately, I'm just not to comfy doing that, I don't want her to end up puking again.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Well let's put it this way....what goes in must come out. Since she hasn't been eating regularly without vomiting...there may not have been anything to digest to make a poop yet....plus changing the feeding time changes their BM times too. I'd hold off on the pumpkin and see what happens later on today. Glad to hear she's not vomiting any more.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | When all else fails...resort to mom remedies. LOL. Well karo certainly won't hurt her. If you should decide to try the pumpkin....I have to put it in with something good...like the chicken and rice. Mine won't touch it otherwise. Another thought on outside...make sure you walk her around...that stimulates them to go too. Reggie really had poo issues...I was never happier than to finally see a firm poop.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Turtle Coes your turtle touch anybody,or anybody touch the turtle. They carry Selmonilla. My neice has Lukemia, and after the doctor's questioned her mom and dad,the first hing that they said was her turtle have to go. When your imune system is low, turtle, snakes and other creatures carry Selmonila, and it's very unhealthy to breath, touch or be near these animals. I don't know if it's even an issue in your house, just a thought.

I thought the same thing too. Sometimes dogs have tummy upsets and they get over it on their own, however vomiting 7 times would have alarmed me. In my opinion, the doc gave too many meds. Continue researching before administering, that is the best right there. It already sound s like your baby is progessing well on its own. Take a deep breath, you sure do have a lot going on, but deal with one thing at a time . Wishing you the best.

YT 2000 Club Member | Thanks a bunch, if the kayro doesn't work and she doesn't go on her own, I may just have to try this. Thanks for the info, it's much appreciated.
