It may very well be the exposure to the turtle. A salmonella infection doesn't require direct contact...it's possible to get sick just from having a turtle in the house and one of the symptoms...is vomiting.
I think a return trip to the vet's may be in order. |
I had thought of that when I took her to the vet and spoke with the vet about it. I told him about Daisy's set up and the precautions I take and he didn't seem to think Daisy was the cause. I do worry about it though cause just having Daisy in the house, the risk is always there, but it's also there as well everytime we touch raw chicken, clean our fish tank out and walk through our yard (we have tons of frogs around here.) We just have to make sure we wash properly. Since posting this AM, Maggy has eaten 4 times and kept it all down, she kept her med down as well. I think she's getting better, I just think she went to long without eating this time and that's probably why she puked. I appreciate your reply though, one can never be to careful when owning reptiles.
